The story doesn't say, but it's possible he had a previous record, was under probation, or some other mitigating factor. Add that possibility to the second person he severely beat, and I could see it. The sentence also covers a time he beat up one of his prostitutes, and I presume the very activity of being a pimp. Yeah, and Kitsune posted links to several prior felony charges, including witness intimidation. Oregon has laws that increases convictions for repeat felony offenders, so the 100 years is understandable.

Yeah, and Kitsune posted links to several prior felony charges, including witness intimidation. Oregon has laws that increases convictions for repeat felony offenders, so the 100 years is understandable. On top of all that, he was involved in a sex trafficking bust back in 2012. Fact of the matter is, the guy was a life sentence waiting to happen and the world won't miss him. I think in 5 years or so you'll go and buy a loaf of bread at the store and inside the bread packaging there will be a big piece of paper warning you of everything that could possible go wrong. Warning: Bread can be a choking hazard if you refuse to chew it Warning: Bread can be hot when used with a toaster It's starting to get ridiculous, this guy will probably get something out of this lawsuit though. Just like chick who sued McDonalds because Coffee was too hot and thief who sued home owner because he got hurt trying to break in. Legal system at it's finest. Common sense? Not even once. the McDonalds lady? she needed SKIN GRAFTS. and she was still found to be 20% responsible herself, which mitigated some of the damages McDonalds had to pay out. and the thief? that's just an urban legend. Also, the cute little revision of the "Hot Coffee" story tends to leave out the part where the coffee was so hot, it literally collapsed in on itself. It also, obviously, leaves out the part where there were had been over 700 complaints from customers about the temperature before this case. Of course, none of this came out because the victim, Stella Liebeck, was prevented from speaking out as part of the settlement. And besides, who are you going to believe, the powerful corporation that had to part with it's hard-earned money or the silly old lady who didn't know coffee was served hot?

Thank god he wasn't wearing 70s platform shoes; might have taken out a city block. If he had the ones with goldfish in them, he'd also be charged with using a weapon of mass destruction and animal cruelty.
