No secret that I think Daniel Bryan is overrated and unentertaining. I personally feel the choice of Batista (Who is now a MOVIE STAR with cross over appeal) is a lot better than having 5'9 200 pound Daniel Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania 30 Everyone saying they're done with the company will be back in time for Wrestlemania and the WWE knows this. As someone who hasn't watched WWE full time since 2006 I personally would like to congratulate them on a good show and a smart booking decision. I will watch Wrestlemania also. Kudos WWE. Kudos. EDIT: Also, if that Twitter above is indeed Daniel Bryans what an unprofessional guy. He shouldn't even talk about those chants. We get it, you're a troll. You're so cool and edgy trying to "own" people on the internet.

If I was WWE and I was going to do this I would have Roman Reigns no where near the ring when number 30 happens, he's your big investment.

Could that be because you, admittedly, don't watch WWE? Watched his match tonight. Decent wrestling match but as a sports entertainer I don't like him. Anyone who dislikes Daniel Bryan is called an attention seeker or idiot so maybe it was wrong to post my opinion but a legitimate movie star definitely will draw more interest and money for Wrestlemania rather then giving the fans Daniel Bryan right now. I didn't say that you were seeking attention but it's unfair to say you don't like them when you don't watch the product at hand. Have your opinion, but when you come to a thread where there are obviously upset people and say their favorite isn't any good, you are going to get questioned. And you've said you don't care for WWE's product so it does come off bad...

Gonna post this in here and re-post it in the Rumble thread: To people saying that they are done with this company, by all means, take a break. Start reading on Monday nights, take up a new hobby, discover something about yourself. Just get away from the product for a few months. I promise you this shit is not worth getting stressed over. It may seem hard if you watch wrestling all the time but it can be done. Trust me, when/if you start watching a few months from now, you'll feel a lot better. It's not the first time I've taken a break, yeah. I'll stick around the forum though.

I stopped watching after Raw 1000, only watched the Royal Rumble after that point, and came back to it full-time the night after Mania. Even as bad as most of the Raws immediately after that were I was a lot more willing to tolerate it. Hopefully the same will be the case when I start watching again in April of this year.

Raw is in Cleveland tomorrow night. And if watching Heat-Cavaliers games have taught me anything, it's that Cleveland fans can be venomous, vile, brutal people. It could get interesting. I feel sorry for Batista. He may get ripped apart tomorrow night by the crowd. Perhaps even literally.

The crazy thing is from the start of the PPV there was nobody that the crowd wanted to see win the Rumble other than Bryan and he wasn't even in the match.

I'm done for a while too. No point supporting a company that is so dead set against doing what it's fans want.

And judging by the 17,000 paying customers pretty much showing their displeasure for the outcome to the RR match, that's all that should matter. That was the quietest I have ever heard a Royal Rumble crowd, ever. When Rey Mysterio's music hit, no one gave two shits about the rest of the match. Size and strength doesn't mean shit, being over does. And Daniel Bryan was the f***in' workhouse for this company over the last year and he get's what for it? The 4th, 5 match on the card. Bullshit. I hope the crowds take a massive dump all over the entire Orton/Batista feud and match. And yeah, Batista is a movie star. But not in the same vain as The Rock. And hell, he's not even as over as The Rock. And he sure as hell won't be now. I have never been more disappointed with WWE in my 10 years of enjoying this company. And Daniel Bryan is talking about the chant's because they deserve to be heard, the guy is a FAN FAVORITE and for some reason WWE refuse to push him. This is like Stone Cold not winning the Royal Rumble in 1998, or Batista/Cena not winning in 2005. How did John Cena get so over, well they PUSHED him to get a main event run at Champion. Sure, gloat about all you want about how small or how much pounds Daniel Bryan has. Size doesn't mean shit in FAKE FIGHTING. Bryan has everybody behind him, smarks and causal fans. He's a great wrestler and deserves more than to be shafted aside for a guy who QUIT 4 years ago and openly bashed WWE's move to PG.

Two questions. 1. How does Batista have crossover appeal? The dude was in some shitty direct to DVD movies. Daniel Bryan got shout outs on ESPN. 2. Who cares about his height? Will a guys height make you not buy the show? Is it ridiculously hard to believe that a small fighter could be skilled enough to fight larger fighters and win? On your second point, it's unreal that people still believe small guys aren't believable in combat or combat entertainment in the post HBK, Royce Gracie era. Not only that, but the two biggest sports draws the past ten years have been Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, two smaller guys.

By your own admission, haven't not watched on a regular basis since '06, you don't really know what you're talking about here. You can have that opinion, and that's fine, but it's an incredibly ill-informed one.

Like I said if you want to quit watching by all means. It will probably do a lot for your health if you stop watching something that causes you so much angst.

My theory? Because they can. There's no competition. They're like drug dealers. They know you really want to quit, but you're hooked. And they're the only dealer in town, so you're just going to have to come back and take their shitty product. There's a lot of reasons. I've always been under the impression that the WWE only wants the guys they created to matter. Even though Punk had a 380 some odd day WWE title reign, dude didn't even main event Wrestlemania that year. Two WWE created superstars (Rock and Cena) did. That very same night, Sheamus, their creation, beat Daniel Bryan in under 20 secs. Let me make one thing clear, I do believe the WWE LIKES Punk and Bryan. They've had world title reigns. They're given a ton of TV time. But NOT in the way they love Orton, Cena, Batista and other guys that went through their system. Those guys have all main evented Wrestlemania. They've been given opportunities even if the fans haven't been as receptive. Punk and Bryan are in the WWE's friendzone ;)

I've been watching nonstop for 12 years, and was watching casually for 4 years before then. It's just incredibly difficult when you're that emotionally invested in something because you watch week after week after week. I don't think I've ever liked anyone as much as I like Bryan now, and i haven't heard any reactions like this since Austin. It's incredibly frustrating.

I wasn't even picking Bryan to win this one (my money was on Punk) but just.. No. Did you hear the crowd or does your brain just play a 24/7 selection of fart noises? 'Tista popped a rating. Cool. But this shit is absolutely ridiculous.
