This place will be awesome to observe when FAN fictions about Bryan winning remain just that, fiction.
I almost look more forward towards that than the actual PPV.

And considering all that has happened this past week, as well as all of your strong support for him, we cannot stress enough that all of you remain civil in the event Daniel Bryan is improperly eliminated or doesn't participate at all. While you are certainly allowed to express frustration, you are not to flame anyone. You are not to flamebait. Do not mock or chastise your fellow members of FAN, and do not make threats or wish harm on anyone here or who is associated with WWE. Shouldn't this warning also be spelled out to to those that don't like Bryan or may use his non-participation/elimination as chance to flamebait his fans?

I'm looking forward to the Rumble and the Rumble thread as well. But if things get out of hand, the grits gonna hit the pan(/r-truth)!

Honestly, the possibility of Bryan winning the Rumble is the only thing that's keeping me from not watching entirely. If he doesn't win tonight, I'm taking a break from WWE. The only upside if Bryan doesn't win is that this thread is going to be amazing to read over the coming days.

I just want to say that I love that it is 2014 and Daniel Bryan is the subject of most discussions revolving around WWE. Couldn't have predicted this 5 years ago.

If he doesn't win the Rumble tonight, I'm not watching again until the night after Mania (and that's mostly for the crowd), and I'm not getting the Network for the time being.

They didn't bring back Batista just for him to lose unceremoniously.
WWE's just not as big a part of my time anymore that I'll care that much about whether Bryan wins or not.
Honestly, I'd kind of like to see Roman Reigns win, but that's neither here nor there.
Just as long as it's not Rey Mysterio.

I hoped they would have understood the "no flaming" rule applied to them, as it always does to everyone else. I doubt anyone reading this would think "this thread is only for Daniel Bryan fans. I'm not a fan, so I can say anything I want." But if you really think it's necessary, I'll add a line to the original post. And Buzzkill, please refrain from going overboard with your dislike for Daniel Bryan.

It's gonna be a war zone tonight. Bodies everywhere, warnings and bannings handed out left and right, there will be casualties in the great Daniel Bryan war!
Don't you just love the smell of napalm in the morning?

I'm glad that there is an all purpose thread because it is going to get ugly in about ten and a half hours.

If Bryan doesn't win, then WM30 will be the last WWE PPV that I order for the rest of my life.

Looking forward to the eventual meltdown when Bryan fails to be even in the Rumble and a loss to Bray to boot! Seriously, i hope Bryan gets to be in and at the very least be in the final four, but im not holding my breath.

I apologize, but I am very emotional about tonight. Let me clarify my statement : If Daniel Bryan doesn't leave WM30 as WWE World Champion, then I will never give another penny to WWE for the rest of my life. I wasn't getting the Network anyway.

I'd like to quote the great Joel Hodgson and say it's just a show you should really just relax. Yes I'm to watch. Yes I'm going to see Batista win the Rumble. Yes I wish it was DBry. But then life goes on.

I understand why the thread was made, but I find it a bit over-reactionary(?) in itself. It's just a bunch of people who want a guy to win, and feel like logic dictates that he should. You're making it sound like a bunch of spoiled 8 year olds who are going to throw tantrums and start breaking things if it doesn't happen. I think most realize it's just wrestling, and get passionate on here but not to a degree where "precautions" need to be taken. But, you guys are the mods, and most have been here longer than me so maybe you see something I don't. About the spoiled 8 year olds line, it's happened here plenty of times. When Orton beat Christian for the WHC in 2011, this board was a war zone for people. Anything spoken positively of WWE was immediately derailed into a thread saying the company was terrible and they should feel bad for making a guy lose. Then there were the countless attempts to get other posters to boycott the television show because... Jeremy Piven guest hosted or something. In fact, when Bryan was fired in 2010 for Tiegate, this place almost went up in flames. I fully expect people to behave immaturely if their favorite wrestler doesn't win a fixed match. I'm rooting for Bryan. Every year me and my cousins and family do a predictions based game, and this year I'm picking Bryan to win. Hopefully I do win, because I might walk away with a whopping 10 bucks. But that doesn't mean if he loses I'll proclaim my exiting from wrestling fandom (only to be here tomorrow) or it doesn't mean WWE is the worst thing in the history of the universe and it makes me shake while holding my Macbook in my lap. Earlier, Meltzer mentioned he doesn't move the needle and while he's over with the live audiences and internet fans, he doesn't rise viewership, and in fact there's been a lot of occasions where he lowers it. The top 4 viewer getters are Cena, Hunner, Orton, and Punk. Batista also is on the list after Monday, when the no good, terrible wrestler who probably has cancer or something... his return caused 2 million people that normally do not watch RAW to tune in and catch a glimpse at him. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do to push this ratings draw above the guy the live audiences adore... but if he's bringing viewers in where a Daniel Bryan or John Cena or CM Punk isn't, then what's a company to do? Based on merch and ratings points, it's baffling to point out that Bryan doesn't draw like many would think he does. And that doesn't reflect his push, because if it did then people wouldn't react to him accordingly. It just so happens that those who love Bryan, LOVE Bryan. And those who don't find him appealing show it by tuning out and not buying his shirts and other merchandise. That's only reporting the facts and in hearing it, my stomach did sink a little bit at the harsh reality that someone people unanimously seem to think is the next big thing doesn't represent a rise in interest before they even gave him the keys to the city. I do hope he wins tonight and I really wish if he doesn't, that the entire audience hijacks the show again and chants for him. Because to me, this booking philosophy WWE has is too flawed and with this WrestleMania coming up already being a huge draw and without a risk of disinterest, there should be no reason to take a chance with a fan favorite. They did it with Bret twenty years ago. They did it with Benoit ten years back. I think it's Bryan's time. That being said, I reserve the right to laugh my ass off at overreactions tonight. Go Bryan.

"and do not make threats or wish harm on anyone here or who is associated with WWE."
Have people been threatening violence to the WWE or posters on here?!
Sorry, I read the post and seeing that people have apparently been so wound up they're threatening/inferring they will threaten people is a bit much.
I've not really seen much (if any?) actual trolling from pro-Bryan people so that shocks me.
Unless it's a reiteration of rules in which case this may be a self fulfilling prophecy. *cue The Final Countdown*
