I just realized... if they go with Bryan winning the title at the EC and defending against corporate musclehead Batista at Wrestlemania, then that frees up Triple H's opponent to be his resentful, cast-aside ex-protege RANDY ORTON.
And while that angle actually makes some small degree of sense, I have even less desire to ever see Triple H vs. Orton again than the unending Cena vs. Orton saga.

I personally think Orton / Batista / Bryan and Triple H / Sheamus are the way to go right now (not that I think they will happen), but if Bryan / Triple H does happen, I can't see there being an ending other than Bryan hitting the full series of kicks, hitting the headbutt (well, unless he's replaced it permanently with the splash he did at the Rumble), doing the full, "YES! YES! YES!" build-up to hitting the knee, then locking in the Yes Lock and making him tap. While it's been rare that he does it, when push comes to shove and Triple H needs to put someone over at Mania he generally has done it decisively.Granted, afterward he'll likely do everything he can to show that despite that match he can totally kick Bryan's ass. Look at how all of his post-Mania 22 interactions with Cena have gone.

And Bryan's big moment should not be a cheap MiTB cash in. What if he wins the MITB and cashes it in BEFORE the Main Event, i.e. Batista's entrance, Orton's entrance... "Ride of the Valkyries". Not only do you then have a triple-threat, but you have an instant opportunity for Botchtista to become Douchetista just by having him flip out when Bryan appears. Normally doing something like this would be a heelish thing for Bryan to do (as it's p***ing on Batista's "dream" or whatever), but given the nuclear heat around the whole thing, I'm pretty sure Bryan would get off scot-free karma wise. I wish people would stop suggesting these relatively sensible cures to the problem because it just makes it more painful when Vince doesn't budge.

Mania 25, yeah, him winning was absolutely the wrong call - that and 19 are why I said "generally". 26, Sheamus really didn't need the win and came out of it fine with it being a competitive match. Though if anything, beating Triple H at Extreme Rules the way it was done (where Triple H basically no sold being sneak-attacked and repeatedly hit with the Brogue Kick) made him look worse.

So, similar to what Ric posted a few pages back about Bryan winning MITB at Mania, with Punk gone and Bryan probably facing him at Mania, I could now see them doing something like Bryan facing Triple H with the condition that Bryan gets a world title shot at Mania if he can beat Triple H the same night.

That would be an interesting idea, WrestleMania 10 it. Open with Orton / Batista (plus there, if it's the opening match maybe the crowd won't shit on it as badly), do Triple H / Bryan about halfway through the show, then do Bryan / Batista to end it. Though Batista would be pretty hilariously blown up by the time he had to face Bryan.

The only things I want to see Daniel Bryan doing at WrestleMania is
A: Winning the Championship
or
B: Ending the Undertaker's Streak.
I've heard rumors of a match between he and Triple H at Mania as well, and while that would be awesome it just wouldn't be awesome enough for me. It's High Time Daniel Bryan gets the biggest opportunities possible. Batista vs Orton as a WM Main Event is a joke, and I like I'm sure a lot of you, have absolutely zero interest in that.

If Orton/Batista is first then it kind of spoils any doubt how the HHH/Dbry match would end.

Or the entire build will be Triple H ripping Bryan apart on the mic, calling him a troll, a midget etc whilst Bryan stands there and takes it. Bryan then beats Triple H will a roll up at Mania after getting battered for most of the match. I just can't imagine a scenario where Bryan comes out of a feud with Triple H looking strong and with a victory. Batista is the only guy in 10 years. Yep. I didn't want this match last year, and it is an even worse idea now. No "revenge" is going to salvage my dissatisfaction with everything that has happened over the last 6 months.

Honestly, I think if there's one person you have break it today and not have the crowd completely turn on? Yes. It's Daniel Bryan. It even works in the sense that it's something nobody currently in the main event has done.

But damn that's a LOT to put on his shoulders. Not doubting that he can't pull it off, it's just a weird thought of someone breaking the streak and not getting booed for the rest of their careers.
