I have nothing left. Why the hell do I keep giving this company a chance? The worst part is the guys headlining Mania are a heatless heel and a guy who's nearing 50, is in terrible shape and only returned to the company this past week. I'm glad I didn't watch but even more glad the crowd told them exactly how they felt about it.

You know, I haven't watched in months and tuned in exclusively to potentially see Bryan or anybody other than Batista win it. Then, I get Batista winning it.
Well, back to not watching for me I guess.

No secret that I think Daniel Bryan is overrated and unentertaining. I personally feel the choice of Batista (Who is now a MOVIE STAR with cross over appeal) is a lot better than having 5'9 200 pound Daniel Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania 30
Everyone saying they're done with the company will be back in time for Wrestlemania and the WWE knows this. As someone who hasn't watched WWE full time since 2006 I personally would like to congratulate them on a good show and a smart booking decision. I will watch Wrestlemania also.

EDIT: Also, if that Twitter above is indeed Daniel Bryans what an unprofessional guy. He shouldn't even talk about those chants.

If the rumors of the Sheamus vs Bryan program is true then why not have Bryan come out at 30 get some eliminations (maybe take out Reigns) and then has Sheamus turn heel and eliminate him?

You know, I'm not one who believes the WWE are burying Bryan. I also understand that making it seem like they do only makes him more popular with the fans opposed to "The Machine". But there has to be a point where WWE gives them want they want. Bryan should have won the Royal Rumble. Pretty much my thoughts word for word. |

f*** the network. I'm not giving them $60 for anything. I'll pirate old wrestling. Giving them money for the network will just encourage their shitty booking even more so. Yeah, unless things turn around in a big way by the time the Network goes live I'm not giving them my money either. I thought I was for sure, but not after this. No way. |

If I was one of the last guys left in the Rumble tonight (especially Rey coming in at 30) I'd be pissed for getting thrown to the wolves like that. They knew what was coming. I really believe that.

There was that sinking feeling when I was doing the math in my head and knew the next few entrants were going to be Big E, Rey, Ryback, and whoever else it was, and realized that D-Bry wasn't going to be in the Rumble. This forum is most likely going to be kind of shitty for a while, I think, because it's going to be full of commiserating Daniel Bryan fans and the smug TOLD YA SO know-it-alls

There's a precedent. The WWE really, really hates it when the fans try to derail their plans and they take it personally. DB is the reverse John Cena. John Cena was pushed in spite of fan backlash. DB is de-pushed in spite of fan support.
That being said, I remain ever optimistic. It's the only way to stay sane and be a WWE fan.

Oh, you're right, but with their track record, they'll wait until after Mania, and it will, while still getting a good reaction, be nowhere as hot as it was. They will then panic since, you know, the fans obviously didn't really want him in the first place. |

So right now, WrestleMania is going to break up two good teams with the Shield and Rhodes Dynasty, it's going to do Sheamus/DBry for the third time for LITERALLY no reason, Dolph is like a cup of coffee away from obsucrity, Cena's going to hault all of the momentum the Wyatt Family has and murder Bray, the entire crowd SHIT ON THE COMPANY'S BOOKING, they may have booked themselves into a corner with Brock, and now this, the most over guy in the company, the guy who winning the Rumble would make complete sense and be the continuation of what was a great angle that started ALMOST A YEAR AGO, isn't even in it, and is just shoved down the card.
WrestleMania XX was dubbed where it all began again. But instead, Benoit & Guerrero closed out the show, Orton/Cena/Batista were made into huge superstars, and an array of young talent was showcased all while doing good stuff with other big names/legends.
WrestleMania XXX is literally going to be the exact opposite of that. Some of it, I would be okay with (I don't hate the NAO as champions, f*** it, why not?). But this is just...this is piss poor booking.
I kind of gave up on WWE after last year's WrestleMania. I kept up with results and shit and I knew everything that was going on. The ending of Summerslam REALLY got me back into it. I immediately fell back out after Hell in a Cell, and there's been some weeks I haven't even kept up with results. I watched RAW last week for the first time since October, and it really gave me hope. But this PPV, which would've otherwise been an AMAZING PPV for the most part, has just sealed it.
I'm seriously done. No more considering. I am passing on WrestleMania XXX, and probably WWE as a whole, for a long time. I may get the WWE Network just in spite of them so I can watch what this business used to be, but that's a big maybe.
tl;dr version - f*** this company.

Looking back, it would've made all the sense in the world for Del Rio for #30. For once he'd have actually gotten some heat. Don't know why they threw Mysterio to the wolves.
