Punk dressing as Jeff Hardy the night after Jeff left. Being a mark for both at the time, it was the fact he was pushing the buttons of someone who couldn't retaliate that made it so heat-generating.
I would say SES Punk screwing with Mysterio, but I really can't stand Mysterio and the way he kills the overness of everyone he feuds with, so I was on Punk's side there.

Get Pittsburgh, a notoriously quiet crowd, to boo the shit out of him so loud they had to turn off the crowd mics and crank his music up to 11, but you could still hear the boos
Get Cleveland to do the same on a smaller scale
Turn Roman Reigns into a defacto super over face during the Rumble
Get Daniel Bryan even MORE over
This is seriously like... 1970s/80s heeling, getting a whole arena to want to murder you.
And if he's really the reason Punk quit? This has surpassed The Freebirds blinding Junk Yard Dog so he couldn't see his daughter be born in terms of insane nuclear heel heat.
