Seems these days, the most hated (heel or face) are the ones who are over pushed, stale, awful or they plain suck. However, when was the last time we actually got a heel that was hated for their heel work?

It's difficult to say, especially here. A lot of people use excuses as to why they dislike a heel rather then admitting the heel work is working. I thought Stephanie was a legitimately good heel during that whole weird Big Show crying deal, once I realised there's no way she's getting any comeuppance her tactics stopped working though.

I wanted CM Punk to get the shit kicked out of him during his last heel run.

I hate Triple H and Stephanie. They do all the heel things but without any of the heel payoff.

I remember when JBL was in his last year or so wrestling, the general opinion of him on here was that he was an awful, out-of-shape, washed up has-been, it was a chore to watch any segment involving him, and he needed to retire ASAP. And now, I think we all look back and pretty unanimously agree that he was a great heel who knew exactly how to get people to hate him.

It's kind of interesting, hating a heel so much that I guess you just refuse to acknowledge that they are good at their job, so you search for other reasons to justify your hatred of them to yourself.

I hate Del Rio who is a heel, but not because he's a heel.

Probably Vince Mcmahon or Cerebral Assassin Triple H.
After those guys it became all about "I enjoy your heel work" fans

When was the last time we hated a heel?
Um....the last time WWE actually cared about heel/face dynamics...so, like 2005?

Del Rio actually was hated when he first showed up beat up Rey and won the rumble... not that you would believe it now.... but it happened.

I would say the Wyatts but beyond a blow by blow reaction, they didn't really get too much heat for 'feuding' with DBry

By your logic, Del Rio is the best heel in the company, and we both know that to be untrue.
