Have we already started to blame Batista, Cena or Orton? I'm selling torches. Desperately trying to get some attention and get digs at dem smarky Punk Fans, are we? Or just making an innocent joke to lighten shit up? GEEZ. And they call ME insecure.

I lol'd, but I'm sure that will be deleted soon. JTG. Stand-up comedian. Fort Knox money. This may be how JTG finally gets canned.

I've got to say, to the people who really believe Punk is somehow justified in doing this, I really feel sorry for your employers if you really have the viewpoint that it's OK to just pick up and leave if you don't like how things are going at work. Granted, anyone is free to quit or resign their job at any time, but it's a little different when you're under a contractual agreement to the company to work for a certain period of time. And it's also different when you have tens of thousands of fans who have paid money to watch you perform, only to find out you aren't actually going to be there because you didn't feel like it anymore. Yeah how dare he, after years of sacrificing his body and mind - admittedly whilst making a lot of money - for our entertainment, decide that he's had enough of working for a company whose decision making skills border on the insane, especially recently. Not to mention there could be other factors at play here like being unsure of how much he was going to get paid (I'm sure all of us in the real world would love to be unsure of what money was coming into our bank every month), being asked to work injured for long periods of time, be usurped at the biggest show of the year by someone you don't feel has worked half as hard as you have (imagine being pushed aside for a promotion you've worked all year for in favour of a guy who's only been there for a few weeks and who, you feel, is in no way superior to yourself). I'm sure we'd all love that, so we should definitely shit on Punk for making such a selfish decision. EDIT: And Madison Carter already beat me to a less emotional, less snarky and more eloquent response so feel free to take his as what I should have said.

If CM PUNK doesn't feel good in the company then he is fine in quitting. Also, I heard that he at least went into a reunion with mcmahon so is wasn't like he just dissapeared

Yeah How dare a worn down, beaten up Punk want to stay off the road? He should keep working until he becomes like Edge. At least Edge had the decency to come out to the fans and say what was happening and even went on the UK tour to say goodbye. If Punk's concussed, injured or whatever, then fair enough, but it's surely not too much to ask for him to walk out to the ring and say "So look, I'm done because of this and that". Unless this is just the dumbest work ever, the fact is that Punk threw a hissy fit and walked out on the company without any notice. However you look at that it's a massive middle finger from Punk to the fans and it is something that simply hasn't happened before. If Punk wants to wrestle before July anywhere, WWE will sue him and rightly so. My point is simply that whether you think Punk is right to be annoyed or to walk out or not, the fact is that he's been unprofessional in how he's one about it. If it is enforced by health, then come out and admit it to fans - he would get his big final moment and no-one would think any less of him. If it's just because he's burned out or sick of the booking, then ask to be taken off house shows and say in advance that you want to leave at a set point and try to leave with a bit of dignity. Just walking out is the worst option. It's spiteful against a company that hasn't exactly been adverse to placing wrestlers on an everlasting s**tlist for less (Jarrett, Chyna, maybe Savage). I mean, if you were WWE and Punk came back in a year or so asking for his job back, would you take him back? The guy isn't Austin. With Bryan and the upcoming Roman Reigns megapush, Punk is completely superfluous to WWE. Unless Punk begs, and I don't get the impression he's the sort of man who would, he isn't going to appear again.

This is a really good interview. He just sounds so tired and burned out when answering questions. He even admits some days he just doesn't feel like lacing up his boots. Maybe monday was the day where he decided he couldn't do it anymore. Guess we'll have to see how it plays out.

Punk might be gone, Bryan went from beating Cena clean and looking like he was going to vanquish The Authority and win the title at Mania to that going to Batista, at least Bryan will face Triple H, and Cena went from main eventing back to back Manias against The Rock (2 highest grossing Manias of all time), to what looks like a Mania program with Bray Wyatt (I like Bray, but that is a huge step down). At least there's still The Shield being booked perfectly. I don't give a shit about a Triple H match, even if Bryan destroys him. Triple H is an old worn out act. He's in a position of power and I haven't given a SHIT about the guy since 2006. It doesn't help that they won't knock it off with this horseshit badass ego stuff. I can only imagine the build to Mania being the same shit we've heard Trips say a thousand other times. Oh...and he'll get the verbal BJ from his opponent though. As a fan, I don't want a consultation prize...I want what I've been asking for for MONTHS. Not later. Now. I don't give a shit about Batista. I don't give a shit about the New Age Outlaws. I don't give a shit about Hogan, Piper or the McMahons. I don't give a shit about Sting. They all had their f***ing time. If you want me to mark for them, put them in the HOF or give them a DVD. Quit with the tired bullshit. Do something new. Do something fresh. Try something different. How hard is that the understand? They booked a MESS. The booked a mess because they were too insistent on their own ideology and ignorance. And as a result of that, I hope their PPV numbers and Network numbers plummet, because they deserve to. As far as the Shield is concerned, I don't expect that to last either. WWE is about as subtle as ground zero of a construction site that a split is imminent. We all know that Reigns will get that wonderful push to the moon that we've all seen before, that is the most manufactured unnatural thing ever, that 3 months after he wins the title, the fans turn on it. I've seen it too many times to really be bothered to care. Pretty much sums up my feelings as well.

I expect the "Self Destruction of CM Punk" documentary to be fast tracked for the network. Kidding aside, it looks like they are really pissed at this story going viral.

Unless Punk begs, and I don't get the impression he's the sort of man who would, he isn't going to appear again. I'm a giant Punk mark and feel no ill-will toward him going home. He worked hurt, gave me years of great matches and memories, and even worked the Rumble for an hour on sunday night. I respect that whatever reason he left is likely justified. He owes me nothing or anyone else. WWE is simply the platform I watch that features wrestlers I like. I'll be disappointed if he's done, but I won't blame him. I'll just assume, as it usually is, that WWE simply suggested something stupid or f***ed up. I'm not loyal to "WWE" as some sort of hivemind cult. I'm loyal to the wrestlers as people. I hope the guy finds whatever peace and rest he can.
