If that's the case we better start booing him now.

Not the next Cena. The first RRRRRROMAN RRRRRRREIGNS. ROAAAAAAAR. OMG I GOT IT pair him up with Heyman. I want to hear Heyman say his name and let's face it the dude needs a mouthpiece anyway. If that's the case we better start booing him now. Well, technically he's a heel so.

I don't see him as the next Cena, but he could easily be the first Roman Reigns.
He has caught on with the audience thanks to his dominance and teased split from the Shield. The WWE could easily make him a huge star if they continue using him right. And I think they will. While he's not as charismatic as the Rock, he's got that connection and they could play it up in the future; a tag match with the Rock/Reigns vs. Ambrose/Rollins could be a big deal for Wrestlemania 31 or whenever they want to have it.

Gawd I hope not. Hopefully he becomes someone more interesting. Aspiring to "this is boring" chants during your WHC matches? He can dream bigger.

I see him being groomed as a huge star. He is a much better candidate than anyone else they have lined up. Bryan may even get a run at the top but 5 years from now I see Reigns being a monster and champion.

I could see him being the next Batista or Lesnar. Back in 2003, 2004 you could see Cena was one of the top mic workers in the WWE. We haven't seen that from Roman Reigns.

How can he be the next Cena if Cena never leaves?

Now I don't you all to think I'm only saying this becuase I misread the thread title, but Roman Reigns should definitely be the next Sin Cara.

Impossible to tell. I hope for his sake that's totally made up, cuz it'd be horrifically unfair for them to shoulder the guy with that sorta expectation. Though it doesn't necessarily mean this is true, Dave Meltzer did say WWE sees Reigns as their "next Cena" or something similar on one of his Observer Radio podcasts last week.

Reigns is the real deal. He has the look and a certain aura about him that says big time superstar. I can see him main eventing Wrestlemania 31 in Santa Clara.

They've done amazingly well with him so far. But we have to see his look, theme and direction after he breaks up with Rollins and Ambrose. They can ALWAYS screw it up.
Mirroring the sentiment of others here, I see him more of the next Batista.

Booking wise, there's not going to be another Cena for a loooooooooong time. It wasn't just his talent and drawing power that had him on top for so long, it was also a unique combination of WWE wanting an accessible figurehead to help separate them from the Attitude Era and carve out a fresh brand identity, mixed with the bad publicity aftermath from the Benoit fallout, as well as Cena's obsessive need to work.
So if you're a fan of top dogs staying on top for only three-four years at the longest, you're probably gonna be very happy in the near future.

I actually do. the problem is, it'll only happen if Cena's willing to move out of the limelight, which remains to be seen. as long as he's around WWE's always afraid of putting anyone else on his level.

I'm a fan of Reigns but he should quickly drop "Baby Girl" from his vocabulary...

dude doesn't like to sign autographs when he's at the gym and he'll sacrifice his days off to visit kids at the hospital? uh uh. I wouldn't like to sign autographs at the gym either. When I'm at the gym, I'd wanna be doing gym-related stuff. They hold meet and greets for a reason.

I kinda agree that he will be like the next Batista, but will he be the next Batista for us in this board? I don't know does he have the Photoshop it factor? Now I don't you all to think I'm only saying this becuase I misread the thread title, but Roman Reigns should definitely be the next Sin Cara. Only if the announcers act like it's still the same guy playing Sin Cara...

What i mean is that being the "new Cena" is not just to be a star on tv and live events..it's an incredible amount of dedication, it's living WWE almost 24/7. That's why CM Punk could never be the face of the WWE no matter how good he is wrestling/mic/Charisma wise. Dude wants to take a week-end off to go at an UFC event? good. Cena shortens his recovery time and would sacrifice his health to help the WWE. On the behind the scene stuffs, Cena's untouchable. I could see Bryan do that, but Punk or Reigns no.
