I don't expect him to become a megastar like Cena is. I expect him to be a multiple time World Champ, but not THE face of the company that will have perpetual main event status.

I wouldn't like to sign autographs at the gym either. When I'm at the gym, I'd wanna be doing gym-related stuff. They hold meet and greets for a reason. What i mean is that being the "new Cena" is not just to be a star on tv and live events..it's an incredible amount of dedication, it's living WWE almost 24/7. That's why CM Punk could never be the face of the WWE no matter how good he is wrestling/mic/Charisma wise. Dude wants to take a week-end off to go at an UFC event? good. Cena shortens his recovery time and would sacrifice his health to help the WWE. On the behind the scene stuffs, Cena's untouchable. I could see Bryan do that, but Punk or Reigns no. I bet even if you bothered Cena at the gym for an autograph he'd probably say no, or at the very least would be annoyed. It's practically a wrestlers private domain. |

No. Nobody is the new Hogan, the new Austin, the new Rock, the new Backlund, the new Sammartino, the new Buddy Rogers, the new George Hackenschmidt. You don't get over doing the same thing that someone else did unless you're Gillberg, Eugene, Stevie Richards/the bWo or Black Machismo, and the last example in that list pissed me off the whole time anyway.

I'm kinda sick of Cena even though I like him, but I don't want Reigns pushed too fast, let him be himself, let it be organic. The guy is great as it is and getting better all the time.

he can be the next Taker. big rough babyface.
he's 1-0 at mania and at the rate he's going he's very unlikely to lose at wm30. new streak perhaps and they can have streak vs streak in few years time.

Can I see Reigns dominating the wwe in 10 years time after having 11 title reigns? No I think one botched push and a transitional reign is the best he will get then fade into nothing and appear in 'where are they now' segments on the WWE website in 5 years.

I refuse to insult Roman Reigns that badly. Saying he's the next Cena is really scraping the bottom of the toilet in terms of insulting the man. Nobody can ever be the next Cena...thank God for that. One is bad enough.
