A few weeks ago I saw a segment with Bruno Sammartino and Roddy Piper.

The crying lady with the poodle hair from the end of the Savage/Warrior match at WM VII is also at WM VIII, they show her at the end of the Savage/Flair match holding a Miss Elizabeth sign.

Thanks to the Network I've realized that Rocco Rock might be one of the most underrated characters, and promos in the industry.

That the Sandman could not stand listening to Woman going full-on ghetto girl makes me smile.
"An I Quit match against Tommy Dreamer? Sandman, you're not gonna quit on me are you? Because, oh no, I'll quit on you first! Yes I will, you know that's right. I'm not Miss Peaches, I'm Woman, and I don't want you quitting on me, because I'm Woman and I get what I want..."
"TOMMY DREAMER, DO YOU SEE WHAT I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH?!!I HAVE TO WIN THIS MATCH!"
(I miss this tandem so much. They were great together.)

Three things that tie together: - Arn Anderson is AWESOME. - Bunkhouse Buck is my new favorite wrestler. - The Stud Stable freakin' ruled.

Three things that tie together: - Arn Anderson is AWESOME. Anderson talked his way into my heart with the fantastic "I don't mean to toot own horn, but TOOT TOOT!'. It doesn't read nearly as well as it came across, but the guy just captures badass in every angle. I mean, that delivery has the intensity of a hitman, with the disposition of a businessman just tending to trade.

Matt Bourne's Borne Again mannerisms were straight up ripped-off from Piper. Hell his first Borne Again promo was almost word for word stolen from an old Piper promo.

That World Class in Texas was the best thing going in wrestling from the early to mid 80s

April 26 1999 RAW - a Meat promo had the Sexual Chocolate music in the background.

That it wasn't 18 seconds that "started" the "yes movement"
there were already quite a few Yes signs in the crowd and fans chanting it before the match with Sheamus even started.

Yeah, the "yes movement" started when he became the "WOOOOOORLD HEAAAAAAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!" But it didn't start getting chanted during parts of the show he wasn't involved with until 18 seconds.

Ok that I didn't know and stand corrected But I have a feeling if they actually had a decent length match it wouldn't have been as loud the rest of the show.

That the September 27th 1993 RAW was the first time the WWF would use a logo bug in the lower corner of the screen, but for the first week it would be in the right corner and be bigger than what they would use regularly, by the next week it would be in the lower left and be smaller. Also this was the first week they would have their ring apron skirts have the WWF logo on them. I'm pretty sure I saw a logo bug on a PPV from 1988 the other day in the lower left hand corner.

That WCW in 93 had faces mostly wear long tights, with heels wearing trunks or a singlet. Whether this was intentional or just a complete coincidence, I have no idea.

WWF didn't come up with the term Hulkamania.
On episode 43 (the earliest on the network) of WCCW which is from 1982 during the opening match the announcer mentions that one of the wrestlers has been on a tour in Japan with "Hulkamania, Hulk Hogan the man known as Thunderlips"

I learned that the Over the Top Rope DQ in WCW rule lasted way longer than I remember. Sometimes it wasn't a DQ so I'm assuming it just kept going away and coming back for some reason.

That rule was terrible. I also hate when refs count when a wrestler is on the top rope. What, are they concerned he will just sit there all day and must count him out? It's just silly.

The Model's music is basically a slower version of the Val Venis theme Also Dibiase was in WCW a lot longer than I thought.
