Thanks to the HHH bio, I found out his last name is pronounced/sounds like "LeVECK". I always pronounced it how it looks, as "LeVESQUE" with an emphasis on the "s".

Jacqueline made her first WWE 'appearance' in a Jeff Jarrett vignette playing 'Winona' who works at a recording studio and is bossed around by Jarrett.
Watching all the old NWA/WCW PPVs, I never realized how many big bumps Bobby Eaton took. These had to take a toll on his body over time. I hope WWE inducts the Midnight Express into the Hall of Fame while Eaton, Cornette, Lane, and Condrey are all still alive and able to walk, as grim as that sounds.

Jesse Ventura's shots at Vince McMahon in his WCW PPV debut went over my head.
First he says upon seeing Vinnie Vegas's entrance, "Why is it that every guy I know named Vinnie has a cheap suit and a pound of Brylcreem in his hair?"
Then when Tom Zenk comes out he talks about how Zenk was 'Mr. Minnesota' which he won for bodybuilding. Then he says Zenk went from bodybuilding to wrestling because he knew that there was no money in bodybuilding. Then Ventura says that the 'Big Vinnie' also now knows that there is no money in bodybuilding. This was when Vince McMahon had started the WBF.

I learned that the Over the Top Rope DQ in WCW rule lasted way longer than I remember. Sometimes it wasn't a DQ so I'm assuming it just kept going away and coming back for some reason. That rule was terrible. I also hate when refs count when a wrestler is on the top rope. What, are they concerned he will just sit there all day and must count him out? It's just silly. Gave me an idea for a thread. And it's a shame WCW couldn't turn things around. I thought Greed was a decent show (for once).

During the 96 Survivor Series when Jim Ross was all heel after the interview with HHH, Crush, the King, and Golddust they talk about the look Hunter gave Marlena. After this JR says Goldust better watch his "Bizneth" ala Dusty Rhodes.

After watching a lot of the wcw ppvs between 90-93, I didn't realize how cool some of the themes were. Rick Rude' theme sounded like an 80s Whitney Houston song, while Vader's theme matched so perfectly with him.
I hated how lex luger screamed when someone punched him as if he's getting his organs removed. That damned triple doomsday cage match lol

People REAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY hated Sarge winning the title from the Warrior... a VERY loud "BULLSHIT" chant after the pin.
edit: Taker didn't always have the Rest...in...peeeeeeeeeace schtick down.
The one he did for his Rumble promo was just Rest.... in peace... without doing the really deep demon voice.

-Tying into the "weird rules" thread as well, but explaining it:
Triple threat matches aren't no-disqualification or countout; rather, if a team gets DQed or counted out, the match continues with the non-disqualified teams.

The damn woman sitting behind the announce team at the 97 Royal Rumble should of been thrown out. She wouldn't stop f***ing whistling through out the whole damn show. Especially during the title match. Omg I hate this woman.

- "Superstar" Billy Graham sounds like Dusty Rhodes on commentary. - I don't enjoy "Superstar" Billy Graham on commentary.

I have a few. Perhaps the most shocking to me is that the majority of my childhood memories (we're talking when I was like 3-5 years old) are of 1993-1996 WCW. I always considered myself a WWF fan (and, for sure, I was when I was an older kid throughout the Monday Night Wars), so having a flood of nostalgia watching old WCW shows really surprised me.
It's really unfortunate that Marc Mero was saddled with a Little Richard gimmick in his prime - he was a REALLY good wrestler. I did not realize just how solid Johnny B. Badd was around this time.
I never even knew a "WCW International Championship" existed.
I think that some of the stuff from the heyday of ECW, XPW, and CZW is tame compared to some of the stuff the Nasty Boys were doing in the early 1990s. That shovel shot to the head Sags gave Foley at Spring Stampede '94 was disgusting.
I also decided to watch pretty much everything that happened in WWF from 1990-1991. Some things I learned include the fact that Jim Neidhart is the worst color commentator of all time, Rockers/New Orient Express at Mania VII is one of the best tag matches I've ever seen, and Sgt. Slaughter, as tasteless as his gimmick was, was phenomenal as a heel.
Also, I knew that Heenan/Monsoon had a lot of running gags on commentary, but one that I had never heard of before the Network is the one where Hennan will be talking trash about a face off-screen and Monsoon would respond with "I'm gonna tell him you said that" (or, alternatively, Monsoon would make a comment about a heel being despicable to which Heenan would respond in kind.) I really enjoy that one.

Something that just amazes me is that in 98-99, Undertaker had a pierced eyebrow. I am mystified by this.
