Bret Hart once scored a pin with his second rope elbow I have to see this. When did it happen?

- "Superstar" Billy Graham sounds like Dusty Rhodes on commentary. - I don't enjoy "Superstar" Billy Graham on commentary. I thought Hogan said the word "brother" a lot, that was until I heard Graham on commentary at Summerslam 88, Hogan is minor league with that. Hogan (in the later stages of his career - I'm talking post Wrestlemania x8 onwards) seemed to pretty much based himself on Billy Graham. He had the same beard and wore the same sort of clothes and colours.

I didn't realize Dusty Rhodes was part of the NWO for as long as he was...

WCW had no idea how to end a PPV in the 2nd half of 1996. Bash at the Beach 96 ended with the long Hogan promo, which is fine, but then Hog Wild ended with like a 15 minute segment where Ed Leslie gave Hogan a birthday cake. Fall Brawl ended after Hogan beat up Randy Savage for about an hour. Halloween Havoc ended wiht Piper and Hogan jawing at each other and the show ended with Piper STILL talking. World War 3 ended on time and Starrcade ended with the announcers talking for like 5 minutes about what Hogan's loss meant. Their shows would just go on and on!

That Raw started at 8:57 at one point in 1996 for some reason.

Gorilla repeats over and over how Wrestlemania VII is the largest pay per view audience...he even says how do you like them apples. I looked it up...it did less buyrates than wm6 did....I guess maybe he meant in how many countries could watch it lol. WrestleMania VII was cleared for about 17 million homes, so that might be what he's talking about.

The only thing I can remember after his heel turn is him coming out at Slamboree 98 as part of the Wolfpac, but assisting Scott Hall in turning on Nash and joining nWo Hollywood again.

Nothing really "notable"

Nothing really "notable" I think him turning on Zybysko was actually tremendously well done. Everyone really played their roles perfect, from the wrestlers to the announcers. Edge, Christian and the Hardyz had their first tag match at King of the Ring 99. It was under 5 minutes long and it was still the best match on the show. As was mentioned before, Chyna vs. Te Road Dogg went 13 minutes. That match got nearly 3x the length of what could have been an amazing 10-15 minute tag match!

Yeah, the turn itself was done well. But Dusty just seemed out of place and it really didn't lead to much.
Today I learned that Jack Tunney is the most respected president since Grover Cleveland.

Watched the Hogan/Slaughter Desert Storm match (basically an I Quit match).
Apparently, Hogan threw fireballs and powder as a face. Slaughter, the heel, never submitted and Gen Adnan threw in the towel. When Adnan went to check on Slaughter, Hogan beat him up too. Also, Slaughter got hit in the face with the WWF title and got straight back up. Bizarre.

I get that it was a no-DQ end of a blood feud type affair, but it's bizarre seeing the heel Slaughter so protected with that finish.

SummerSlam 2000 - Rock has (or at least had) a really pasty ass.
Also, I might make a thread on the main board for this, but even as someone who wasn't able to watch from about King of the Ring 2000 to a bit before Invasion (I forget exactly when I was back on board but I attended Invasion so I definitely know I was watching before it), just watching this PPV it makes no sense that Stephanie didn't turn on Triple H to allow Angle to win the title leading to Triple H turning face.

That Raw started at 8:57 at one point in 1996 for some reason. I think it was because Nitro started at 8:59. By the way, Nitro would soon start at 8:55.
