A-Train had his nipples pierced in 2003. Started watching his match with Undertaker from Summerslam 2003 and skipped the match as soon as I realized it. Came close to gouging out my eyes with a spoon! Might not want to see him as Prince Albert. He is very pierced there as well.

Plus I watched all the Attitude Era PPVs and I only recall seeing him during the 2000 Rumble.

Not the Network, but since it's Roku...when Jos Leduc came into the WWF in 1988, he was "The Headbanger"...which was his No Holds Barred character.

I didn't know Earthquake's originally-scheduled WrestleMania X opponent was to be Ludvig Borga, as announced on Raw during the lead-up to the show.
Ironically, Vince McMahon referred to Randy Savage as "Hall of Fame-bound" on Raw (Febuary 1994) before his match with Yokozuna.
I believe Gangrel/Vampire Warrior was a jobber for a match with Earthquake at this same show, working under a mask as the Black Phantom.

Not something I learned, but was reminded of...
I found both Bret and HBK/HHH to be completely insufferable in their feud. There's a promo by Bret where he just rambles and calls both HBK and HHH "homos," to which HHH replies "I ain't no queer!" They then go on to talk about the clique and go into full Cena mode of "lol who cares I win"

I guess D-X were sort of tweeners.

After watching NWA/WCW PPVs and early WWF Raws, I realized something I didn't notice growing up:
Mike Rotunda worked-up quite a sweat during his matches, even before he had to wrestle in a dress shirt, tie, and dress pants, though they certainly didn't help matters.

Didn't realize how deathly Macho Man made his elbow drop look. Everybody sold it like neutron bombs. When you see HBK do it a lot of the times it looks as if he lands on the ring before the elbow hits, whereas Macho lands on the person first, greatly maximizing the move.
Still my favorite finisher (Jake DDT second, Stunner third)

The Bulldog/HBK match from One Night Only 97 was a perfect example of overkill heel booking. Chyna, Rick Rude, and Triple H kept intefering as Hebner kept twisting himself into unnatural positions not to see any of it, this went on for like 10 minutes. Meanwhile, ya know, Bulldog was in the HART FOUNDATION at the time, who did nothing about it until after the match where HBK starting taunting them and they ran in to console Davey and Diana. Meanwhile, Davey dedicated the match to his sister who had cancer, and the PPV ended with him lamenting letting his sister and his country down. They just went way too hard on that, obvious Kliq shennigans there, it was all about making them huge heels and making everyone else look absolutely stupid and inept.

If not the network then why are you mentioning it? What does it have to do with a Roku? i don't remember LeDuc in 88. thanks

LeDuc was seen on maybe one match, think on Prime Time. He had Frenchy Martin as his manager.

I've often heard that many of the WWF stars of the 1980s did better 'work' before coming to WWE. From watching King Kong Bundy in WCCW in 1982 and 1983, he shows a lot more charisma and confidence. He is given more promo time as well. I kind of never got King Kong Bundy from his work in WWE, but I can see how he comes across as a star in World Class.

Raw was such a weird animal back in 1993.
They were running places no bigger than what ECW did. There were constant production issues. It was really the same 5 wrestlers week after week. The PPV reports with Okerlund were awesome and took me back to being a kid where there was a lot more wonder. I find myself liking more heels. Vince McMahon was really dreadful. The PPV builds were so much better than now.

That at least on Clash of the Champions IX, Iron Man hasn't been dubbed over for The Road Warriors.

That at least on Clash of the Champions IX, Iron Man hasn't been dubbed over for The Road Warriors. That wasn't actually "Iron Man". They had stopped using the actual song by that point and were using this knock-off version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRJj6aiNtpQ

*During Ric Flair vs Sting at Clash of the Champions*
Jim Ross: This right here is a main event anywhere in the world.
I would hope so, Ross, since it's a f***ing World title match and all.
