Money Inc/Beverly Brothers had a damn good Heel vs Heel match on the April 19, 1993 Raw. One of the earliest IIRC.
They were setting up a Bret Hart/Lex Luger feud in the Spring of 1993. Lex attacked him the day before at the WM Press Conference. Commentary didn't even acknowledge it but Bret's promo on the April 19th Raw states that he intends to go after him over the attack.
Friar Ferguson's dropkick is beast.

April 14, 1996 Nitro. Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Sullivan & Arn Anderson. If Hogan wins, he can have 5 mins in the ring with Woman or Elizabeth. If Arn & Sullivan win, they get 5 mins in the ring with Kimberly. A match where the winners got to beat up a woman for 5 minutes was the prize!!!!!!! Not onlt that, but when Hogan won and he corners Woman and Elizabeth in the ring, the fans cheered him like crazy! Heenan buried the fans later for cheering Hogan for threatening punching 2 women.
Also I feel terrible for Mongo's dog Pepe. The outfit Mongo put this poor animal into. I'm convinced the reason the dog never barked on air was because he was too embarrassed to utter a sound.

The 2nd Nitro had a ring with an illuminated see-through apron that changed colour. I like it.

Tatanka was incredibly over in 1993 and WWF missed the boat with it
Raw was good viewing when it first started out
Mr Perfect was world class
Just how great Bobby Heenan was as a heel. He is absolutely brilliant!!

Heenan had a "who's side is he on" moment on the 4th episode of Nitro when Luger came out to make the save during a Giant beat down of Savage.

First and foremost: I LOVE Nitro. I can't make it through an episode of New Generation-era Raw or ECW, but I've been marathoning these for nearly a week.
By the end of 1995, Hogan wasn't the top face. It was Randy Savage, with Sting as his number two. Hulk, as mentioned above, was in the middle of doing this weird "Bo Dallas without the self awareness" thing. Honestly, his seemed to be more of a thorn in Savage's side than Kevin Sullivan and the Horseman combined.
Lex Luger's odd "mega heel, except when Sting's around" gimmick doesn't work on PPV (save for Starrcade 95), but it sure makes for compelling television.
Scott Steiner started showing flashes of "Big Poppa Pump" as far back as 1996. He wasn't the guy standing beside/behind Rick anymore. He was the one starting the matches and cutting the promos. And he was "bigger" - much bigger.
The Public Enemy was hired to fill the "hardcore" void left by Sabu.
Arn Anderson was a freaking beast in early 1996. The only heel to be booked consistantly stronger was Flair, and even that's debateable.
Bischoff really seemed to have his heart set on a Giant/Loch Ness feud.
On the same note, he was totally fine with doing a heel versus heel match if it progresed the story.
Sgt. Craig Pittman got a decent-sized push in late 95/early 96. It didn't last long, but it happened.
WCW marketed their PPVs like they were boxing events. Everything, from the ads to the commentary, was focused on selling the main event as the greatest thing ever. The undercard was all but ignored.

Re: Luger, something I noticed was that he more often than not always did right by Sting. He helped him and protected him as much as he could and if he did something that hurt Sting in some way, it could be rationalized. So Hogan and Savage yelling at Sting that Luger couldn't be trusted was kind of funny because Luger never screwed Sting over in this story. Hogan and Savage didn't like Luger and they didn't hide it so it made sense that Luger's not going to help them at all. Luger was really good in this tweener role and for a change, Sting wasn't an idiot for trusting him.
Also Ric Flair at this time was just brilliant. His storyline with Savage and Elizabeth was amazing TV. Savage going insane and Flair gloating about spending all of Savage's money, God how ironic is that now, was incredible. The VIP area he'd set up ringside was a great touch. I can see why this feud did such amazing business and really started the ball of momentum for WCW that the NWO would help grow.

Brian Pillman was really coming into his own during the beginning of Nitro. He just owned the camera if you know what I mean. He was developing such a presence. It is such a shame he had that terrible accident right when he was becoming so good and getting a big opportunity. I didn't really realize how much of a presence he had back then.

The Dungeon of Doom actually debuted a freaking leprechaun in 1996! I couldn't believe it was Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker.

WCW invested a lot more on the set of Nitro than PPV's.

On on of the early episodes of Nitro Randy Savage was wearing a hat that had the RAW "Uncut, Uncensored, Uncooked" tagline on it.

Speaking of Randy Savage... How many different outfits did that dude have in 1995. I'm yet to see the same one twice.

That I can't wait until they upload more RAW and Hardcore TV episodes so that I can keep re-watching my childhood in order.

WCW had the most incompetent referees ever. They're out of place for spots, they're in awkward positions so that a heel can cheat, they are always in the way, they see something illegal happening and they have to act like they didn't see it. It wasn't just Nick Patrick, they all sucked. Though Nick Patrick is the worst referee ever.
Also Woman shamelessly flirting with Mean Gene is hilarious.

I always loved the time she kept playing around with him as he's trying to talk, and he goes "Unhand me, Woman!". I thought that was great.
