Recently, you have Batista. What are some others?
I think the most obvious would be Rock, who was booed a ton before turning heel. The opposite goes for Austin, who started getting face reactions.
Another one not talked about often would be Edge. He was getting boos in 2004, especially at SummerSlam. It led to one of the best heel runs ever, IMO.
Others?

I've always assumed that Hulk Hogan turning face in 2002 was a result of the Toronto fans at WM 18 cheering him against the Rock.

Didn't Eddie turn face because he got a random standing ovation after a match?

Didn't Eddie turn face because he got a random standing ovation after a match? Yeah, in 2003. They tried to keep him heel, but it wasn't working. In 2005, I thought for sure that the heel turn wouldn't work, but working off of Rey made it possible.

Also, when Rock was Vince's number one goon in late 98 - early 99 he still got a lot of cheers.

Edge's heel turn was partly started due to the fact he was booed by his hometown crowd at SummerSlam 2004--to the best of my recollection.

That reminds me, how can we forget Lita turning heel after details between her and Edge were leaked (especially after she was booed out of MSG).

Stone Cold Steve Austin is the best example I can give. I remember in an interview a long time ago that Austin mentioned he was supposed to be this big heel, but fans started liking him so that left them no choice. The way he made it seem...there was no real plan on turning him face. The fans pretty much decided that for them. Makes sense seeing how he basically acted like a heel who just didn't insult fans and used heelish tactics against full blown heels.

Hulk Hogan's stale 94-96 WCW reception over time resulted in him being the 3rd man.

NXT - Everybody.
Well not quite but most notably Bo Dallas turned heel because the fans hated him as a face, that reaction forms the basis for his whole heel character. CJ Parker is following a similar path.
On the flip-side Emma, Enzo and Big Cass were too entertaining and likeable to get booed so they were turned face pretty quickly.

Dolph, after he cashed in MITB I don't think it was the cash in pop that turned Dolph face. It was the concussion. Having him come back from such a career threatening injury like that made him that much more sympathetic to the fans. It's a shame that Del Rio's face run had to be collateral damage.

Cena is pretty great at turning heel for a night when needed, if the entire place is against him.

Would Daniel Bryan's turn from psuedo-heelish tweener with Team Hell No to the current face incarnation count as the fans' reactions helping along to that route?

Del rio in his title win match against ziggler. I think that entire match was already planned as a double turn based on previous reactions that Ziggler had being getting. And it worked really well too. But then they completely f***ed up the follow-up which led to the first interest I'd had in ADR ever disappearing completely and Ziggler fading into obscurity. Shame really.

Edge turned twice in 2010 due to fan reactions, once at the draft when fans were booing him, then in fall when fans started cheering for him.
