The Kings have caught every break humanly possible these playoffs. All the bounces and puck luck. Talk about the hockey gods being on your side. For a freaking 6 seed, the way people are talking about how great they are, you'd think they were a 1 seed. They're the Giants of hockey- they play when they want to play, but in the playoffs, EVERYBODY talks about how you have to watch out for them. They're not a perfect team- 9 losses is 9 losses- but they seem to be incapable of taking the knockout punch. Maybe it isnt a case of magic or voodoo like you think it is and the Kings are just really, really good. Thats not possible. It doesn't fit the narrative Unocal is going for. Also, really hope this ends tomorrow night because I don't think my ride to work will let me see Game 5 after work. I hope she does, but its unlikely. |
