How did Chicago beat these guys last year?
These guys seem unkillable, almost bulletproof.

I'm not calling this series over yet. I saw Boston drop two heartbreakers at VAN in 2011- 1 in OT, 1 with less than 20 seconds left.
BRV, Slickness- do you see hope for the Rangers like we saw with your B's?

f***ing refs handed this game to the Kings. f*** this, I'm done. 1 goal thats questionable. Play defense and maybe 4 goals would've been enough to win. The call was so early in the period that for all you know we could've scored again later. This wasn't the final play of the game. You may be done but the Rangers aren't. This series isn't over and i'm willing to wager won't be until Wednesday the 18th. 2-0 lead isn't safe for me.

Was that non-call sketchy? Definitely, though you can make the argument that McDonagh held King in the crease and he wasn't able to get away, which would cancel out any goalie interference against King.
But it was still 4-3 even after that goal. Rags have no one to blame but themselves for consistently giving up 2 goal leads through this series. Blame the refs all you want for #3, but it didn't decide the game.

While I'm not ready to give the Rangers their last rights, L.A just seems to have a whole other gear right now. It's a cliche, but NY *HAS* to win game 3 If this series wasn't going back to New York, I'd be pretty willing to call this over, but the Rangers are a good home team. If they can win game 3, it's a whole new ballgame.

The Kings are also a very good road team. And New York hasn't been great at home during the postseason. I think they're about at either .500 or a game or 2 over. The Pittsburgh series skewed things a bit. If anything, they got road wins when they really needed them.

Wow, that was like in the last .5 second of the period.
Of course it was Jeff Carter. The guy's been a thorn in the Rags' side since he was on the Flyers.

The Kings have caught every break humanly possible these playoffs.
All the bounces and puck luck. Talk about the hockey gods being on your side.
For a freaking 6 seed, the way people are talking about how great they are, you'd think they were a 1 seed.
They're the Giants of hockey- they play when they want to play, but in the playoffs, EVERYBODY talks about how you have to watch out for them.
They're not a perfect team- 9 losses is 9 losses- but they seem to be incapable of taking the knockout punch.

The Rags didn't play terribly tonight, but Quick was on his game and Lundqvist wasn't. The King With No Crowns also had some rotten luck as well, like that first goal that got deflected off Girardi's skate.

I actually don't feel quite as bad for the Blackhawks losing to the Kings.

Maybe it isnt a case of magic or voodoo like you think it is and the Kings are just really, really good.
