Oh, God! Tonight's a matchup between the NHL's two worst teams in Carolina and Edmonton. Which one will suck the least? The league is so lucky this game is in Edmonton. I don't think anybody would go if this game was in Raleigh. I say this not as a slight at Hurricanes fans. I don't think anybody in the USA would want to go to that game. I'm a Caniac, and I had them at dead last this season, and I would not blame anybody who would go there just to wear a paper bag on their heads. Hell, we'll probably be so bad we'll finish 3rd in the draft lottery. Those poor bastards who think Carolina still has a lick of a chance at the postseason should be in our thoughts and prayers. |

Sunday I may go see the Avs' AHL team, the Lake Erie Monters, play the Hawks' Rockford Ice Hogs(my local AHL team). I will have to cheer quietly for Joey Hishon.

Well, the Stars are currently beating the Devils 2-1, but it's great hearing Doc and Chico doing commentary together again.

Okay seeing Draisatil nearly breaking down and crying after scoring his first goal made me feel better. I still think he needs to be sent back to the juniors though after this nine game tryout. Kid is going to be great and I think this season is already lost and they shouldn't stunt his development like almost every other prospect

RNH with dat greasy goal. Wasn't expecting that. RNH has been amazing these past three games. He outplayed Stamkos for 12 mins against Tampa and outplayed Backstrom and Ovechkin including stripping Ovi out of the puck and then scoring. RNH might be the second of the kids to reach elite status this season. I agree with Darryl Sutter that Hall is the best LW in the league |
