Is Iiro Pakarinen going for a goal every time he touches the puck? Six shots, one goal with just under four minutes of time on ice. I saw the highlights of this kid and I love it. Hopefully he continues the fine tradition of Kurri, Tikkanen, and Nimmani as the big nasty chirping goal scoring Finnish players. Seriously his highlights in OKC and yesterday's game is just awesome. He loves to hit people, chirp at players, and shoot the puck and he's big. God I love it I'm hoping hes the good Coke Machine player we've been looking for since 2010. |

The Blackhawks are super frustrating. Blow out Montreal, then lose to Washington at home. Need a better performance against San Jose on Sunday.

Bryce Salvador is so bad. Defensive defenseman who lost all semblance of physicality and playing defense is a turd of a player. He can't do anything with the puck when he gets it on the point. He can't skate the puck out of his zone or pass it out instead holding it so he can pass to Zidlicky but by the time he gets the puck the other team is back leaving few options. Every other defenseman on the Devils at the NHL level can bring something to the table and he brings nothing. In fact he breaks the table by falling through it he is so bad. But he's a nice guy so he'll try to fix the table but ends up setting it on fire

Noob question:
I am from Kansas and I am currently following my first full season of the NHL (watched playoffs in the past).
How do people feel about the the 14-16 conference split? I have aligned myself with the Winny Jets and think our division is really tough.
Also, what are the odds of NHL expanding? I find this highly unlikely.
