 Surprised Gelinas and Merrill are so low, though they're young and make a lot of mistakes. And unlike Larsson still got a lot of playing time even in spite of their mistakes. Though one of the positives of this coaching by committee thing is that Scott Stevens loves Adam Larsson and won't arbitrarily bench him like DeBoer did. And unsurprisingly Harrold is f***ing terrible. |

Nah, I'd rather hire a ringer by bringing in a bad team from a climate that'll never host a Winter Classic. Carolina is perfect for that. Speaking of them, above Scott Burnside's "disgraceful" comment for Edmonton, he asked when Ron Francis will have that fire sale. You might as well; this team is gonna be horrific for years. My one concern is the fear of Carolina relocating because of fan disinterest due to a shoddy product. |

Yup it's obvious the Oiler management is purposely trying to tank and MacTavish continues to trade players who have shaded the organization during the media like he did with Smid, Hemsky, and now Perron. I'm surprised they actually got a 1st round pick for Perron but to be honest it's going to be wasted draft pick since they can't f***ing draft worth of shit outside of the first ten picks and this is going to be a late first round pick. And by any miracle it was good late round draft pick, they'll trade him to another team where he becomes a fixture of another team. Seriously this is beyond f***ing stupid. Perron is one of the few guys on the Oilers who plays with any heart, grit, and is an annoying pest who can draw penalties and play dirty! They haven't had someone like Perron close to a f***ing decade and they trade him away after a season and a half. Just when Perron was finding his stride again since he started the season playing hurt fresh out of a hip surgery. But I'm really happy for Perron. I really am. One of the most underrated players in the league is going to f***ing skyrocket and benefit playing in a real franchise and playing under the likes of Crosby or Malkin. Seriously who ever has Perron on their fantasy team is going to f***ing gain a lot for it. But really this is beyond f***ing ridicolous. MacTavish promised us BOLD trades but I didn't think he meant in BOLD by good trades. Ironically enough trading Paajarvi and a 2nd round draft pick for Perron was the best trade he has made and most likely ever made and this might be his worst trade yet. f*** YOU MACTAVISH! f*** YOU LOWE! I can't believe you're rebuilding your rebuild for the fourth time already. I'm not exaggerating. This is technically the fourth time they are rebuilding the rebuild. Oh yeah back to my comment on purposely tanking. This is what McDavid had to say about teams purposely tanking: I'm sure McDavid is playing nice and doesn't want any non stop media controversy if he was truly honest and said the Oilers. But please McDavid if you hear Edmonton call your name in the draft, refuse to sign with them if MacTavish/Lowe are still employed. |

He will never have much of an NHL career, but he is scrappy and has heart. He also played in a city who makes hammers and has a business called "Klinkenbeard", so he was born to play here. |

I honestly think MacTavish made the trade because he giggled at the name Klinkhammer and was like I want him in my team. Plus MacTavish just like his predecessor Tambellini is just obsessed with re tooling their fourth line and adding in more 13th-14th forwards/7th-8th defensemen. I was going to say at least he is going to play in a competent farm team but I forgot Buchberger is the head coach of the AHL and he was the worst headcoach in Oilers AHL history. His season was so bad Edmonton actually had to make a press release apologizing to the AHL for having such a shitty farm team. I'm not making this up by the ways. |

Since MacTavish took over 18 months ago (give me some time I'm new to this its only been 18 months! Have patience you can't blame it's only been 18 months. Yes MacTavish actually said this) only Petry, Jultz, Hall, Nuge, Eberle, and Yakupov remained of the team he took over. He simply has no idea how to build a team and you can't say the word rebuild anymore since its been too long even though the first rebuild happened either the moment they traded Pronger or traded Ryan Smyth in the same 06-07 season |
