Nashville Predators top six is insanely stacked now. Weber, Josi, Franson, Ellis, Volchenkov, Jesus Christ! Anyways was this really the best trade toronto could get? A high first round pick, a UFA on a career on the decline, and prospect that seems to be tracking good so far but unproven Is Volchenkov playing well in Nashville? Because he was horrible in New Jersey the last couple of years.

It wasn't easy at all, but the Rangers finally beat the Islanders 6-5 and are now in striking distance to take the top of the Metro. I was there. holy shit what a game. best I've ever been too. Only downpoint was that Talbot played like a backup tonight Talbot hasn't been playing great this run. Luckly the goal support has been there or they'd be in trouble.

Why would the Sharks add Kessel? That'd just result in having another version of Patrick Marleau. Not to mention that he hasn't won anything. I mean I'd the Sharks do that, whatever, but it's not going to really do anything.

Speaking of the Sharks, the webcam at the Levi's Stadium watching the setup for the Sharks vs. Kings Stadium Series game got a candid crow.

I guess they have JVR but he ain't no Kessel

I guess they have JVR but he ain't no Kessel Because they needed an escape goat Then the media wll call out Nonis when getting rid of Kessel doesn't work. Within the last three seasons Kessel has been in the top five for both Points Per Game and most Overall Points. Which means he's consistent and isn't injury prone. Anybody thinking of doing or supporting a hard rebuild, you should ask yourself this question: Lupul wary of Leafs' rebuild: 'Who are we going to put on the ice next year?' www.thescore.com/nhl/news/700244Seriously everyone seems to forget Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Washington signed bunch of accomplished veterans and character veterans during their twlight years to mentor players like Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, Letang, Toews, Kane, Keith, etc.

Steve Moses just made a scoring record in KHL with 36 goals this year. Reportedly multiple NHL teams are interested in him, but his small size might play against him. The size thing always bugs me. Guys like Sakic, Karyia and St. Louis are small and have done very well for themselves.

Guys like Sakic, Karyia and St. Louis are small and have done very well for themselves. The way it plays against Moses is that he is smallish and unproven at NHL level. Also, he can get a rather well-paying deal in KHL, so only way he is coming to NHL is on an one-way contract. But then again, Jori Lehterä was unproven at NHL level and he is doing rather well. Some team will take the risk.

So as thought, Skapski started against the Sabres and allowed a goal about 14 seconds in. That was his only mistake as he gets his 1st NHL victory as the Rangers won 3-1.

I am happy for him, but I wish that trade never happened as it will likely make it impossible for the Avs to make the playoffs. The way the Wild are playing, they are going to be a scary low seeded team come playoff time. Shit, them and LA might be 7 and 8. Also, I was hoping Dacy Keumper was their future, I like that cat.

I'd still give it to the Wideman own-goal on the delayed penalty.
