Jagr is now playing in a NHL Team in which his NHL Career is older then the team itself. Jagr is playing on a team where the two top point scorers ages combined equals to one Jagr. Jagr is playing on a team where old people and legendary NHL Careers come to die. Welcome to Florida Jagr

I'll miss Jagr on the Devils, but the picks are nice value. Especially since 2015 is supposed to be a deep class, so that extra second round pick is nice.

Welcome to Florida Jagr Now that he's bounced around a lot at the twilight of his career, I really hope Jags writes a book. The stories I'm sure would be the stuff of legends.

Well Trade Deadline is going to get boring and I doubt Nathan Horton will play again considering he wanted to sign with a smaller market with no intense hockey media

Seemingly a good trade to both teams that one. Toronto gets rid of Clarkson and Columbus gets rid of having to pay for Horton's contract once he retires.
I think someone reported that to be basically Columbus paying 1.4 millions during the next five years to get a healthy player in Clarkson over a possible retiree in Horton.

Wonder if they consider a package using one of the extra 2nds to trade up for an extra 1st, or if they just try and rack up more picks and trust in the deep draft class.

Yeah, Jagr for a what's likely going to be a mid-2nd round pick in 2015 and a conditional (Devils' choice) 3rd rounder in 2016 is a pretty nice value for him. Now if they could find some way to unload Zidlicky to a playoff team for a mid-late round pick. Or Peter Harrold for a bag of hockey pucks, which granted is probably more valuable than he is.

More interesting race: The one in the Metro Or the one below the Ducks in the Pacific?

More interesting race: The one in the Metro Or the one below the Ducks in the Pacific? As great as those are, I am really in to the central. Every team is still in it, if just barely. Top 3 is hotly contested, so is the bottom 3 and the Hawks are in both sets of those.

Flyers trade Kimmo Timonen to Blackhawks for a 2015 2nd round pick, conditional pick in 2016.

The tank is getting stronger in Carolina. But he'll probably sign with Carolina again in the off season. Anyways Jeff Petry is a healthy scratch tonight so it looks like the best Oiler's defenseman, a rare good right handed shot defenseman, and the only Oiler who was drafted later then the first round in the past 10 years to play 200 or more games days are outnumbered.
Yup f*** you MacTavish for valuing Jultz more then Petry and treating him like like crap the past two seasons. Now instead you're going to throw Nurse, Klefbom, and Marincin in the deep end next season and kill their development just like what happened with Justin Schultz. f*** THIS TEAM!
Anyways I'm happy for Petry that he's going to become a UFA and will probably play for a great team next season. Probably Detroit since he's from there, his dad is a famous Detroit Tigers player, and Detroit has been looking for a right handed defenseman for like 2 seasons. Yup a great franchise like Detroit wants a player like Petry. That's the difference between Edmonton and Detroit. I guess the only good news right now is Petry's trade value is higher with Franson, Tomonen, Sekera, Myers, and Bogosian being recently traded and Leddy signing a contract extension. Trade deadline is going to suck so hard.

As reported on NBC, pending a trade call, The Coyotes have traded Antoine Vermette to the Blackhawks in exchange for prospect Klas Dahlbeck and a 2015 first-round pick.
