Coburn for Gudas, a first round pick and a third round pick is too much I think.
Meanwhile, Petry for Montreals second round pick isn't that bad for Canadiens.

With Cezikas (4th line center) being out long term and who knows when he's coming back, I don't mind this pickup. Think he'll work between Clutterbuck and Martin if Casey can't come back..
Also just swapped out Johnson to Buffalo for Michal Neuvirth. I like this alot. Huge upgrade as Chad has been a complete bust as a backup. Should enable them to actually rest Halak alot more down the stretch and not make it a 50/50 shot of the backup showing up to play that game.

I'm sad how the Oilers best defenseman got less then Kimmo a 39 defenseman who hasn't played in over a year.

Proven talent, leadership and experience weights a lot when getting playoff players it seems. Same thing with Olli Jokinen's trade to St. Louis, he brings stability and experience to the ranks of the Blues. Also that's 10 out of 30 teams that Olli has played in.

The Avs traded Max Talbot and Paul Carey for some beans, not even magic ones.
If you don't know, Talbot was very much often the heart of that team, and the grit. Idiotic move by the Avs. It was a salary dump and nothing else. Great move for Boston though.

Ron Hextall managed to get a 1st and 3rd picks and Rakdo Gudas from Tampa for Braydon f***ing Coburn. This man is a wizard. Hell I would have taken Edmonton supposed offer of three 2nd round picks they offered last year but not Hexy. What a great trade. Didn't make out to bad for Kimo either.

Jokinen is a very low risk move. The Blues may not even need him. Our first 3 lines are set with Berglund-Stats-Jaskin playing great lately. So we've got Goc (who was a terrible move, being a total poor man's Lapierre), and Ott who Hitch loves. Then Reaves, Porter coming back eventually, and Cracknell who just got signed again. So you've got 6 guys for the 4th line spots. Hitch is all about Ott, and Porter if he's healthy. Goc is a nothing player. Hitch likes Reaves grittiness and he's actually played pretty well all-around this year as opposed to only offering hits and fights. Jokinen will have a hard time catching on in the 4th line with his skill set. But at the cost, who cares? Reaves gave Kassian a great shiner the other night, it was awesome.

With Jokinen, I'm just glad that he has at least one chance in his career to win the Stanley Cup. I mean, with a career of over thousand regular season games his total of six play-off matches is absurdly low.

My Fuel finally beat Fort Wayne last week (and swept the weekend series, to boot), and are now in playoff contention. Also, the Kelly Cup's gonna visit the Coliseum in April.

MacTavish in a press conference called Nitkinin a top 4 D Man in the league then later he said he had a rough start because he showed up to training camp out of shape. He also didn't mention Marcinin as part of the core D moving forward but he mentioned Nitkin and Jultz on that core. Seriously f*** MacTavish you're somehow becoming worse then Tambellini Dear God

Just a shame. Sadly, the Blues don't have a chance to win the Cup. We're the Cubs of hockey.

So all of a sudden, Nashville stopped being a stellar team. They're on a 6-game losing streak giving up 3+ goals in each of them, and the Blues are 2 points away from taking the top Central spot. What in the world happened?
