As happy as I am for that, I really wanted to be there for a Rollins/Ambrose one on one match.

So for the MiTB briefcase match I'm thinking:
Rollins Ambrose Ziggler Rusev Bo Barrett RVD
With Rollins probably winning.

I think I figured it out: Title - ADR, Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro, Wyatt, Cena, and Reigns Briefcase - Rollins, Ziggler, BNB, RVD, Dallas, Big E, and Ambrose Orton and Rollins win of course so that we have Rollins guarding Orton at all times so that if someone wins the title from him, Rollins can cash in to win it back for Evolution. The rest of the card will look like this: Usos vs Wyatt Family for Tag Titles, Cody vs Goldust, Henry vs Rusev, Fandango & Layla vs Adam Rose & Summer Rae, Sandow gets squashed by someone wearing a ridiculous outfit let's say Kofi Kingston Oh and of course, Hornswoggle vs El Torito in the pre-show. Alright I'm going to stick with this card that I made a couple weeks ago. So far I was correct about the title match participants and the tag title has been added to the card. Rollins of course got his reward as being the first man named for the briefcase ladder match so I expect the same six contestants for it. Gonna cut Cody vs Goldust and replace it with Stardust & Goldust vs Rybaxel for a Tag Title Shot instead. Henry vs Rusev doesn't seem like a reality, but I could see Lana cutting a promo and Henry coming out so I'll stick with it. Fandango & Layla vs Adam Rose & Summer Rae already happened but they'll get the return match on the card too. Kofi vs Sandow is still a possibility for the pre-show. Maybe add Paige vs Alicia Fox again on the card. Unfortunately we lost out on Hornswoggle vs El Torito.

I see Rollins winning the briefcase and immediately cashing in on Cena/Reigns after the ladder match.

At this rate, there'll probably only be four matches on this show, with Paige/Naomi likely being the fourth one.

Hopefully that will happen at Battleground now Rollins vs Ambrose vs BNB vs Ziggler vs Kane vs RVD vs Russev is what I hope it will end up being and for the rest of the card Bo vs Jobber and Paige vs Naomi Could end up being a really good show, despite initially having some really stupid decisions as to who entered the World Title Ladder Match (I am looking at you ADR)

Would it seem reasonable that at MITB, two wrestlers were at the top of the ladder and one grabbed the WWE Title Belt and the other Grabbed the WHC Belt, that there would be two Heavyweight Champions? Would WWE pull something like this, so close to them unifying them?

I'm thinking they'll add another Rhodes/RybAxel match on the show to pad the card out.

How does it make any kind of sense for Rollins to go through all that trouble of turning on his besties so he could get the "POWER" the Authority could offer him only to wind up in the ladder for a shot at the title instead of just being in the actual title matche? Meanwhile, Roman, the guy he turns on and the guy who the Authority hates, is in the actual title match.
*sigh* That's what happens when you book as you go, I guess.

Because Roman wasn't supposed to be in the title match (or any match) while Seth was try into finish off the Shield members like he's talked about for three weeks now. However Roman playing Vickie screwed those plans up and forced them to create a second match for a title shot and put Seth in there as a back up. Now why they didn't just stick Seth in the title match to counter Roman is something they'll have to explain (but probably won't). I know people hate what they are doing and it has caused them to turn away from the Shield stuff but to WWE's credit, they have explained this stuff on air. Hell, that highly praised Ambrose promo from a week or two ago laid out everything clearly (or so I thought) and same for Roman and Seth's stuff too.

I get that Roman is is supposed to be in the match because he tricked the Authority and he's not going be pulled out because "lolwrestling" but like you said, there is still the question of why didn't they just put Rollins in the world title match instead of just creating a whole new match? You're right, WWE has presented this story very clearly. My problem is that the story they are telling isn't very good and just doesn't make a lot of sense, IMO.

Did they explain why there is only 7 spots (and I assume 7 spots in the MITB Briefcase ladder match as well) this year instead of the normal 8?

I haven't seen any adverts for this on Sky recently, so I figured I'd ask here, is it on Box Office or are we being blessed with a rare "free" PPV?

Would WWE pull something like this, so close to them unifying them? My first thought was to say no, but everyone who's thinking they wouldn't needs to factor one thing into the equation: If WWE still had separate WWE and World titles a champion getting injured and unable to defend one wouldn't have been nearly this big of an issue for them...I don't see it like that, and I'm glad they unified them, but WWE might be thinking against having all their eggs in one basket due to everything that's happened since WrestleMania.

Onwards to Night of Champion then!

I see Rollins winning the briefcase and immediately cashing in on Cena/Reigns after the ladder match. The match has to end at the top of the ladder, so it would make sense for the briefcase holder to immediately knock them off.
