After the briefcase match, did Triple H come out? They played his music, but because of where I was seated, if he didn't go beyond the stage, I did not see him. Yeah, he and Steph greeted Rollins at the top of the ramp and raised his arms.

Here's the problem: we're not supposed to be thinking in the terms of 'who is going to drop the belt to Lesnar'. Sometimes we all think a little too behind the scenes for our own good. Why not? That's most likely the end game. If it's not, than I'll agree that this win would've have gone to anyone. But, if it's to drop it to Lesnar, than Cena's the only one who make sense. Eh, I just don't like that end game.

I did absolutely love the briefcase MITB match, and I thought Usos/Wyatts was great.
Too much needless filler
Feel asleep during the main event as I figured they wouldn't give it to anyone original and I did a 5.30am till 3pm shift at work yesterday so I was nakurd. Looking forward to seeing the entire match though as I only saw bits of it drifting in and out of sleep, what I have seen it looked decent.
I thought I was still dreaming when I saw Cesaro being able to punch with one arm and hold onto the titles/rope at the same time. It just looked absolutely crazy and shows his strength, to not only punch but throw good punches while up there.
Looking forward to making a load of gifs up from the two MITBs and Tag Title matches a bit later. Not the best PPV ever, not the worst but contract MITB sure did live up to my expectations and for me is somewhere in the upper echelon of MITB matches. Ambrose, Rollins and Ziggler especially put on incredible performances.

I couldn't agree with this more. WWE is really starting to get out of touch with who the fans want to see. They are really going to have to start to realize that the World Title Picture isn't just for big Muscleheads (They'll always be there sure but they aren't the dominant species). You got guys like Zayn, Neville, Crowe and soon Devitt, KENTA, and Steen presumably. Times have changed in the world of wrestling. You either accept the new generation and the new status quo and the new generation or you continue to lose/piss off fans. They're definitely on a slippery slope, I think. Reminds me a lot of the early 90's. You had some new blood that was starting to catch on with the fans, but the WWE stuck with the old dogs. And then when those old dogs up and left, they had to scramble to really make new stars again. You think they would have learned by now. The difference is there's no competition to where the big names can go.

This show really failed to hold my interest outside of the MITB contract match, Usos vs. Wyatts, and Paige vs. Naomi. Those 3 matches ruled! But the rest, including the main event (outside of that ladder teeter-totter spot which was really unique and scary) had me wanting to do other things.

I just watched the MITB preshow. We got none of that in the arena. It would have been so cool to see the Wyatt interruption that actually cut off the sign off.

Hell I needed a pick me up after the Bryan announcement. Got it with that Tag Title match. Paige and Naomi had the best main show Diva's match I've seen in a good long while.
Honestly other than the shit fest from Summer Rae/Layla, I'd classify all the non gimmick matches as at least good. Rusev/Big E was a nice, enjoyable hoss match. I groaned at first when Cody became Stardust, but I've come around on it. Dust Brothers and Rybaxel had a pretty good match. Hell wrestlingwise even the Adam Rose match with "Paul Revere" wasn't too bad but I couldn't see much of the match due to the constant facepalming I was doing looking at Sandow.
Now.....the MITB matches. The first one with the case, full of action, and spots. They are still picking up pieces of Rollins from the ring. Holy shit dude take it down a notch. Wouldn't you like to be able to function in your 40s. Honestly they could have dialed it back on a couple of those spots and I still would have enjoyed the hell out of it.
The title match. That was a 2 man match and that's it. If Cesaro and especially Sheamus weren't in there that match SUCKED. They both shined in there. Wyatt was no where to be found. ADR, who cares. Cena looked like he didn't even want to be there. Reigns did nothing to impress me. Orton/Kane...they used that "Kane is there to make sure Orton wins" story a bit at first but after Orton got hardwayed he was pretty much a non factor. Thought Sheamus and Cesaro carried the hell outta that match.
So the 2 MITB to me were on the extreme ends of the spectrum, but then again myself and I think others thought it was gonna go that way and that's exactly what we got.

Welcome back to the status quo everybody. Someone wake me when Cena loses the title. We should have known this was going to happen the moment Bryan got injured. The problem is WWE does not have an available reliable talent to give the belt to outside of Cena, Orton and Rio while Bryan heals up. The others are not in the main event level. Except maybe Kane but he's too old and can't be an active champion for the company for too long cause of that. I guess it could have been a nice shocker though: Orton is about to get the belt and Kane throws him with the ladder and get the belts for himself. Chaos in the Authority! That could have been the storyline going forward while Bryan recovers.

The difference is there's no competition to where the big names can go. Indeed and that makes it even worse. For the entire roster it's a matter of eat the shit that Vince gives you, or fade back into obscurity on the independent scene. With the stigma that surrounds TNA and their budget issues, I don't really see too many guys going there. The big money guys (Cena, Orton, etc) could retire now and probably be set for life but anyone that leaves to pursue the Indy scene most likely won't get an invite back. It's gotta be a tough situation sometimes and terribly frustrating. The glass ceiling is made of lead these days and it's damn near impossible to break through.
