Realistically, who else could have won? Cena makes perfect sense if Lesnar is getting a title shot. Roman, Wyatt or Cesaro would have me tuning into RAW tomorrow and would be the next logical step in all of their careers, the three of them are in a holding pattern at the moment. Roman/Lesnar is money now. It's way too early to give Roman or Cesaro the title and Bray doesn't need it. And I'm sorry but a feud between Lesnar and Reigns would just expose Reigns. So Cena winning makes sense

Roman/Lesnar is money now. No it isn't. Roman is purely end match spots right now, he can't do a huge PPV main event by himself. *Cocks Fist* SUPERMAN PUNCH!!!! OMG *Out of Nowhere* SPEAR OMG It was fine when he was masked by Rollins and Ambrose, but now he is on his own and it is a glaring flaw of his.

Roman/Lesnar is money now. only if you don't want Roman to be money later. A loss to Lesnar would be the best thing for Roman. Humble him - set him down, make him work his way back up. The Sheamus/Cena/Ryback win streak he'll have until they give him the title will...well, go the same way it always does.

My thoughts:
Uso's/Harper and Rowan: Solid opener. Decent match. Looks like they're starting to distance Harper and Rowan from Bray with the new theme and not accompanying him and so forth. Paige/Naomi: Decent. Kind of sloppy at times. Naomi looked way better than Paige in ring IMO. Adam Rose/Paul Revere: f*** this match. MITB 1: Decent with some cool spots. Sadly TheDemonKane had to show up. kind of a lazy finish. Ambrose is over like Rover. Goldust/Stardust vs. RybAxel. Decent. The Dust's are great. Hopefully Cody never turns back into boring CAW Cody Rusev/Big. E. Solid power match, but I have zero f***s to give about Rusev and Lana as they're outright awful. Layla/Summer Rae: Didn't care about it at all. MITB 2: Probably one of the worst MITB matches ever. Too much Kane. Everyone knows that he's a loser, stop pretending otherwise, WWE.
Overall decent if unspectacular.

They could have had Reign win and then Rollins comes in and with the help of HHH, Orton and Kane, becomes new Champ.

It's more of.... resignation.
The second that Cena entered the match, I knew he'd win. Before, anyone really could have won, and part of the intrigue was wondering who would get the title and how they'd handle the title reign. But Cena's the safe choice, so we go with him. I get it, but f*** if I don't like it.
- Ambrose should have won. That crowd was white hot for him, and when he came back, everyone became unglued and practically willed him up the ladder. The man is a S-T-A-R waiting to happen, and the second they pull that trigger, it's going to be beautiful.
- Big E Langston got to look great tonight, and I'd wager it's Rusev's best match. A competitive back and forth, and Langston coming close to breaking out of the hold makes him look extremely well.
- My God I'm still upset about Cena winning. Wyatt as the champ is fantasy booking at the moment, but I would have loved him holding the company hostage proper.

it was more of a "oh thank god it's over" reaction If they didn't like the match they could have left. Last match of the night, nothing else to keep them in there seats. The stupid high ticket prices means staying till the bitter end...

The only issue I really have with Cena winning is the way the ending went down. Everyone is beating the crap out of each other the whole match and then Cena just AA's two dudes and scurries up the ladder like he just came out of the locker room. It's beyond aggravating at this point. That's more an issue with the match as a whole having pretty lousy ladder match psychology. The briefcase match was far better - lots of different strategies on display by the competitors, more believable fake-out endings, an intriguing central story in Ambrose/Rollins that was backed up by Ziggler's overness and Kofi's story of trying to shed his choke artist history. There were also far better spots, much more exciting atmosphere overall. The main event ladder match, by contrast, was repetitive and boring outside of a few cool spots by Orton and Cesaro. The Reigns backlash seemed to begin in earnest (I had to have my volume down, but it sounded like he was getting booed solidly in a few places). The crowd didn't seem to have any kind of favorite, the way Ambrose was a favorite in the briefcase match...none of the competitors would have been exciting as a winner, it was either a lukewarm if upwardly mobile Cesaro, an oddly placed Bray Wyatt, or any number of "same old same old" options. (And if anything seems to be killing interest in WWE right now, it's any hint of "same old same old.")

The Sheamus/Cena/Ryback win streak he'll have until they give him the title will...well, go the same way it always does. it would turn Reigns into what Ryback currently is. He doesn't need to go undefeated until his first title win, but he needs to only lose to people who will do something with the victory and his first title reign doesn't need to be a short one.

Well, who here can't wait RAW tomorrow night? Raw is going to be amazing. I am really looking forward to Cena saying the champ is here again. This was a fantastic payperveiw even the worst match of the night Summer vs Layla had an interesting angle going for it. WWE is really incredible right now.

Roman, Wyatt or Cesaro would have me tuning into RAW tomorrow and would be the next logical step in all of their careers, the three of them are in a holding pattern at the moment. Roman/Lesnar is money now. I'm a fan of Roman Reigns and I still think he's not ready to be in the main event. Especially with a match against Brock Lesnar. Wyatt's character doesn't care about being Champion, besides the guy's 27 years old. He's got a long career ahead of him. Cesaro hasn't been really interesting since his paring with Heyman. He's not ready to win the belt now. That leaves Cena, Del Rio, Sheamus, Orton and Kane. Kane's there to be the bodyguard for Orton. If the endgame is to give the belt to Lesnar at Summerslam, than giving it to Orton makes no sense. Del Rio isn't going shit, Sheamus is already US Champion. Giving is to Cena makes the most sense if the person is supposed to drop it to Brock. It's a big money match and builds up Brock even more.

If he's just gonna lose it to Brock at Summerslam, I'm okay with this, if that doesn't happen, or Cena has a long reign, then yeah, I won't like this. I do wonder who's he's facing Battleground, though I have a feeling it'll somehow involve Orton.

It's beyond aggravating at this point. Agreed, it's like Cena's character of invincible Superman that buries talent dead in a minute was just personified with the ending of that match
I would have been much more ok with Cena winning it after a duel on the Ladder, like AA Kane then AA Orton off of the Ladder, show a little more struggle than NONE AT ALL.
It just reminded me of Survivor Series with The Nexus all over again, and moreover why I hate the way Cena is booked.
