For me, it's Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Crash Team Racing. They both shamelessly copy Mario Kart, but are arguably come off as much more fun than the original games in their time(MK64 in CTR's case and MKwii in All Star's case), though your mileage may vary on that if you worship Mario Kart and think of them as knockoffs regardless... I don't know if you would count it as a knockoff but I thought Diddy Kong Racing was a better game then Mario Kart 64. |

I honestly think Star Trek has gotten much more out of the inhuman cyborg concept with the Borg than Doctor Who has with the Cybermen a lot of the time.

I didn't care for CTR at all, if any "knockoff" deserves credit for arguably being better than Mario Kart 64 it's Diddy Kong Racing. That game was a blast |

I can only judge Flash Gordon from the 80s movie, but if it's any indication of the original material then Star Wars is a lot better.
Other than that... I guess I like Blackjack Cola a lot more than real coke.

I've had more of a blast with All Stars Racing Transformed than any of the Mario Kart games. The lack of blue shell helps tremendously.
