I was hoping they would trade him for Cespedes No offense or anything, but the Red Sox traded Jon Lester to land Yoenis Cespedes. I can't possibly imagine them then turning around and dealing him for a nothing hitter who, at best, would be the poorest man's Adam Dunn. it was a joke . I know they couldn't get a used washing machine for smoak

This is really early to pull Peavy.

I am glad they did though this has become the best inning of the entire World series.

This game is just further proof that Jake Peavy is nothing more than a National League pitcher. He looked like a world-beater from August through September against NL teams, but as soon as he faces an American League lineup, he gets his doors blown off.

That was a lot scarier than it should have been. Walking the bases loaded was a bad move.

Unless the Giants can make one hell of a comeback...I think we are going to a Game 7

You've got to imagine that Madison Bumgarner is going to be the first person out of the bullpen for San Francisco if Tim Hudson falters in game seven.

And it's 8-0 and that probably might be the best thing for the Giants because it only allows 1 run instead of what was sure to be 2.

Can we just auto-sim this game and start game seven at 10?

Ventura is pitching to honor is late friend Oscar Taveras.
Oscar is probably in heaven right now, proud of what he is seeing.

Was a great hitter. I used to be amazed by his hitting as a child. Royals add another insurance run.

So, the Blue Jays have claimed Justin Smoak off waivers from the Mariners. I was hoping they would trade him for Cespedes I'm just glad we're rid of "Nothing but" Smoak. LoMo can take over 1st definitevely and now we just need a big right handed bat who can produce on a regular level.
