I was seeing videos of "friends" on Facebook doing this for a week before I even knew it was a charity thing in aid of ALS research. No one even mentioned it when posting their videos, so I assumed that once again it was proof of my theory that people will look for any excuse to do stupid stuff.

I think Seeing CM Punk tweet about it was the first time I knew what it was for, exactly.
