Currently, I'm a student who provides free manual labor for service hours so I can graduate. In the future, I hope to become a sports executive, be it as a front office staff member or an agent. How about you, FAN?

I’ve been a power plant operator for the past 14 years. Think Homer Simpson but with coal, not nukes. My job is running both a boiler (where the steam is produced) and turbine (where the steam spins a generator). I might, might be promoted in a few months, if that happens I’ll also be running the generators also (the equipment that makes electricity).

They just call me that so I don't hang myself. I write down the readings of the boiler (where the hotter water is produced). Also, I clean shit streaks off toilets! Plus make sure your pool water is safe and the ice is ice. |

Dispatcher for a cable company. I take calls as they come in and assign them to our technicians in the field and then listen to them ***** because they have to do another job. And at the end of the day when they can't take anymore I listen to customer's ***** because I need to reschedule them for another day.

I'm a scaffolder for the union, and I'm dispatched from site to site when I take a call on the job board. Basically, I erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding, which are temporary work platforms, you see them a lot in big cities. The highest I've been was recently on top of the cokers at Suncor, which is about 200-210 feet with nothing in front of you but the ground (obviously tied off though). So I'm also not really an employee technically of the companies, I'm a contractor (and not an Independent one at that)

I was unemployed, but then I got a job as a PSE clerk at the local post office. I decided I wanted to pursue a teaching certification since I won't have to do much to finally get it. The fine folks at the local post office didn't like the idea of me (possibly) having to take a couple of classes and not being available a day or two a week, so they told me that "I needed to choose". So I guess I'm unemployed again? I don't really know at this point.

I work for a private banking institution/lender.
Not in an actual bank as a teller, but the back office type stuff. Used to handle compliance related issues for another, larger bank's residential portfolio but they sold off all their loans.
I honestly couldn't be bothered to try and get an analogous position because I just lost my taste for that whole sector so now I work in doc retention just to dodge the headaches and hassles of most banking industry BS.
