Perfect feud with Lesnar, because Cole referred to Lesnar at a Summerslam as the Lunatic Fringe

It would have worked for Tyson Kidd a few years back, but otherwise no. Not a good nickname.

It's alright.... however I really thought "scumbag" could've worked. I know they wouldn't use it since he is a face and it isn't really a term of endearment.... but he is a dirty looking guy so I thought it fit. I can't wait for him to come back, honestly. He is my favorite thing in WWE right now.

Gorilla Monsoon was the best at nicknames
"What a textbook backbreaker from the Hitman. Always has that "excellence of execution" as I like to call it"

You think that's bad? The Spanish commentary calls him the "Half Lunatic", being aware that Ambrose is crazy but he's half crazy instead of being whole crazy.

I think it's fine. I'm not sure why it sounds cookie cutter. I think Scumbag or anything else they come up with will be way worse.

I don't like it, but that's partially because they repeat every nickname ad nauseum until it's so annoying, ala THE DEMON KANE.

I was kind of hoping that they'd run with "Scumbag"

"Titty Master" it is, then. I would give anything to hear Justin Roberts introduce Ambrose as the Titty Master.

It just makes me want him to use the song instead of the shitty music he has now.

Eh, I don't mind it. If you're watching for the first time and the announcers calls the guy a lunatic, you'll be like "oh, OK. This guy is nuts. I get it." If he ever gets called it by the ring announcer, that would be f***ed up.

It's like anything the WWE does anymore, they grind it into the ground trying to make it a thing until we're sick of it.

Should have just been lunatic not lunatic fringe.
Then it could fit into his name in the style of previous wrestlers. Dean "the Lunatic" Ambrose. Well maybe not because now instead of sounding like Dean Ambrose is a lunatic, it sounds like Dean is a Lunatic Ambrose rather than a regular Ambrose.

They could give him the "Street Dog" nickname again.

I think it's too wordy.
It reminds me of the name Jeff Hardy went by for a minute.
"The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy just sounded like bullshit and I stopped paying attention during the word "charismatic."
"The Enigma" Jeff Hardy sounded a lot better. I really liked when JR shortened it. It made him sound like a superhero.

Who decided it was okay to call The Undertaker a booger?
