Maybe next time these threads should be parced by the clause, "BESIDES JOHN CENA,..." This turned into yet ANOTHER John Cena bash, but I digress...
InVasion Era SCSA hasn't been mentioned yet, I don't think. Because of a contract close to expiring, they had to come up with some kind of way to keep SCSA satisfied and hanging around. The writing was absolute trash, and it took two professionals, Kurt and Austin, to keep it from being completely unwatchable.

Cesaro yodeling and Natalya farting. Natalya farting has to be the best gimmick they can give give to their diva ever. I mean a woman farting is just so cool, it made her sexy & a complete woman IMO.

The Shield vs The Wyatts.
Could have been an EPIC WM match.
Thrown away on a weak PPV and a random Raw.
Then at WM the Shield has a one minute squash victory on Kane and the Outlaws, and Bray is destroyed by that Damn Cena.
Baffling is a good word to describe this mess.

The absolute burial of Ryback and his subsequent heel turn was a head scratcher. I get they didn't trust him to be champion, that's fine. But constant losses to the Shield and then to Mark Henry out of nowhere really hurt him.
I didn't even like the guy much but still called bullshit on it.

Christian loses the title in less then a week to Randy Orton. I'm not even a fan of Christian and that pissed me off.

I don't know if I agree that The Shield vs. The Wyatts was thrown away at Elimination Chamber. That match made the PPV for a lot of people and it was an amazing match that really put over both teams.

Big Show forced to do the Authority's dirty work because he was "broke".
Legacy suddenly having tryouts for new members, seemingly on the verge of forming a stable but then lol, none of the prospects make it and a month was wasted just to end up with the same three guys.
The Invasion.
Anyone aside from Punk or Lesnar as a Heyman guy. The rest of the "Heyman Guys" were basically buried by the spectre of Punk and Lesnar.
Any IC/US champ for the past few years.

Big Show being inserted into the Authority angle last year was mind numbingly stupid.
The iron clad contract bollocks, the truck, stealing the 'Yes' chants etc.

Daniel Bryan from November 2013-end of January 2014. Just pure idiocy.

Most of the recent tag team breakups. The IC Title not being defended at Wrestlemania for several years straight. The IC and US Titles being an afterthought, period. The Wyatts not winning the tag titles last summer. Paige winning the title on her first night on Raw. She's awesome, but unless you're Hulk Hogan, winning a belt right off the bat is kind of setting the person up for failure I think. Zack Ryder's momentum being completely killed at the start of 2012. I remember showing a non-wrestling fan the US Title win and he loved it. Good thing he didn't stick around for what was next. I think Hurricane defeating The Rock ended up getting wasted afterward. It's pro-wrestling, I can suspend my disbelief for little guys defeated larger wrestlers.

Teddy Long Screwing over the Undertaker at Unforgiven 2009. It never led to any heel turn by Teddy, so it made little sense. Did at least give us this.

The way the Orton/Trips feud leading up to Mania in '09 was written literally made no sense. You can't argue it.
Orton claims he targeted the McMahons to get under Triple H's skin in order to goad him into a title match. This is despite the fact Orton won the Royal Rumble that year meaning he could challenge anyone he wanted. But that's not even the part that doesn't make sense.
Let me give you a brief timeline of the points leading up to that match. (Late January) Orton, upset at Stephanie not showing him respect confronts both her and Vince and demands an apology from Stephanie. She refuses, and Vince backs her up while confronting Orton. Orton snaps and slaps Vince and finishes him with a punt kick. Vince is stretchered out.
(Royal Rumble) Orton wins the Rumble match by eliminating Triple H (Note Triple H was not champion at this time).
(February) In order to avenge Vince, Shane McMahon comes back and feuds with Orton. It ends with Orton beating Shane and punting him into oblivion (muchlike Vince3).Meanwhile Triple H wins the WWE Title in the Elimination CHamber that same night.
(March) Orton RKOs Stephanie lading to Triple H running out for the save (insert Triple H constipated face GIF here). Triple H hunts down Orton and tries to goad him into a match inclusing a home invasion with the sledgehammer and a similar backstage segment. Orton eventually accepts and the two agree that Triple H cannot harm Orton less the match is called off (or something like that). That same week Orton attacks Hunter, nulling that stipulation...
Anyway, the week before Mania Orton has a big moustache twirling promo where he explains his "master plan." He attacked the McMahons in order to goad out Triple H and take the title from him at Mania as a way of redemption for Trips turning on him 5 years prior. Even if you ignore the fact they'd been feuding on and off for years since that event, it doesn't explain why Orton would target the McMahons BEFORE Trips even was champion, or why this was even needed since he won the frickin' Royal Rumble.
This feud was a complete mess. This is why pro wrestling is better off following the K.I.S.S. rule (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

Big Show going from "IRON CLAD CONTRACT!" to "BROKE" in a few months.
The Raw after Survivor Series 2001 where they basically hit the reset button. Austin is face again, and is back to being the old Stone Cold...Angle is heel again for some unknown reason....and everything since WM 17 NEVER HAPPENED!!!!!!!!

Nothing can compare to 98.4% of the Bryan/Authority saga. The insertion of the Big Show was a real treat. Just the perfect storm of bad WWE booking.

The mess before WrestleMania this year.
Let me get this straight, you screw Daniel Bryan out of the title at Summerslam and screw him over for months afterwards. You have him overcome everything The Authority throws at him and build him up to be the biggest babyface in years. So naturally the man who will topple Orton at WrestleMania is.....Batista? While Bryan fights Sheamus in a meanless match?
That would be like if in The Dark Knight Rises having Batman go through all this struggle to fight Bane, overcome his broken back, escape the prison on the other side of the world and make it back to Gotham just to have Superman show up and save the day in five minutes while Batman has to settle for just some random henchman.
It would have ruined WrestleMania if the fans hadn't made thier feeling loud & clear. The reason many people belive it was all a work is that they can't belive the WWE could be THAT stupid.
