OJ? Do we really need to dig up the bones on that dead horse and beat it some more? What the hell else could there possibly be left to say. "ESPN Scores Huge Ratings With 5-Part OJ Film"?

Things like the Duke lacrosse case should be the type of stories 30 for 30 should be all about. Not horseshit like 'Trojan War'.

If there's one thing that I learned from "June 17, 1994" - one of the very best 30 for 30 films ever - is that the use of talking heads in documentaries are extremely overrated. ESPN doesn't need the participants in the Duke lacrosse case to tell the story fully. They could, if they so chose, go the same route they did with the O.J. Simpson Bronco chase and just show us news clips of the mass hysteria surrounding the case, from the public's rush to proclaim these men guilty to the fallout from the facts of the case revealing it was a total fraud and lie from the accuser. I think this is going to be a fascinating 30 for 30. The Duke lacrosse case was one of the first examples of social media really pouncing on a subject and declaring a group guilty until proven innocent - the "tragic rush to accuse," as the North Carolina attorney general put it. And as for Crystal Gail Mangum, it wasn't just "another incident" that she's in jail for. She was found guilty of second-degree murder after stabbing her boyfriend to death.

By the way, I recently rewatched "June 17, 1994" because of ACS: The People VS O.J. Simpson. It's still the best one they've done.

I'm surprised that Nifong and Gottleib didn't say that they were aliens, or demons, and they're guilty.

"I don't think that Dr Meehan was at the party that night."
I should not have laughed as hard as I did.
