It's funny how initially Cena said halfway through RAW was when he would demand Brock but then that time came and went without comment and of course the segment conveniently took place right at 'halftime' of the Monday Night Football game.
That kind of lack of confidence, faith, and interest in your own product and level of catering to non-fans is probably a new low. Coming soon, WWE will sit and wait patiently for you to finish that episode of Breaking Bad on DVD before getting to the big segment.

I am 100% convinced that Vince swapped the Lesnar/Cena and Henry/Rusev segments out of football fear.

Coincidentally, halftime of MNF is the only time I watched Raw tonight.

I would rather see Heisenberg cut promos on how he's the one who knocks than anything from tonight's episode of RAW. Not saying that in a bad way. Heisenberg is the man.

They've always done that though. It's well known that they try to put on big segments during halftime of MNF to attract viewers.

You know...shooting your big angle of the night at halftime of MNF isn't the worst idea.
Of course putting on a show good enough to make people not watch football is probably a better one

I don't recall them ever being so blatant about "Just come back during halftime and don't watch the crap beforehand", and usually you can expect the big segments at the top of each hour, not 9:50 EST or whenever we finally got going with the Cena segment.

Next week they should just re-air that episode of Halftime Heat with Rock and Mick's empty arena match. It would probably pop a rating.

I love the fact they followed up the Cena-Lesnar segment with a f***ing Cameron vs Naomi match. Way to rope in the viewers Vinnie Mac!!!

Vince puts his foot down and declares enough is enough, and suspends Kane for 3 Raws to send a message.

It timed-out great for WWE as it coincided with the top the 10:00 hour. This was most likely why they put the Cena/Heyman/Lesnar segment in this spot of the show instead of at the end of the show.

Most people don't remember or care anymore. Same thing will happen here. The only way the NFL is going away is if the owners themselves just up and disband the league for shits and giggles. It makes me wonder why Vince ever decided to put Raw on Monday nights in the first place. Just because thats the slot Prime Time Wrestling had?

There used to be two wrestling shows that drew monster ratings against Monday Night Football. At a time when MNF, not Sunday Night Football, was the home of the premier NFL game of the week. The NFL excuse is a very weak one.

Both in and out of the business. When Steph and Shane were kids, Vince would always have a great big birthday party for them. Of course he'd drag it out and make them wait for the payoff, which was moreorless worth it, but then when it was all over he'd smash the leftover cake in their faces and then fart in their mouths.
