Arda Ocal is a lifetime wrestling fan who had been busting his ass to get hired by WWE for YEARS. He was miserable about not landing the gig a couple years ago. As a fellow Torontonian I've been rooting for them to hire him for a long time and I'm thrilled they've made his dream come true.
Look at me babbling about such nonsense. Let's bitch about that stage name that obviously Arda cares so very much about!! ARGGGGHHH KYYYYYYYYYLLLLEEEE!!!!

They have a lot of announcer/personality folks at the moment.
I wouldn't mind if they figured it out a bit. Stanford also returned.

What an unusual name. And Arda Ocal is pretty weird, too. Brilliant strategy: this guy snuck into the vault where they keep the NXT name generator and gave himself an NXT name ... so when he signed with WWE and typed his name into the generator, it reverse-engineered and gave him back his real name. |

Still miss his Aftermath podcast, this is great news! It'd be very cool if he gets on commentary for Smackdown or Raw some day.

They have a lot of announcer/personality folks at the moment. I wouldn't mind if they figured it out a bit. Stanford also returned. Seriously, how many do they need? Not including the Spanish announcers they have Alex Riley, Booker T, Byron Saxton, Eden, Jason Albert, Jerry Lawler, JBL, Kyle Edwards, Michael Cole, Renee Young, Rich Brennan, Scott Stanford, Tom Phillips, and William Regal. Do they really need 14? |

Do they really need 14? That's incredible. Tom is the PBP guy on Smackdown but barely talks. Cole inexplicably graces us with his presence on Main Event. I get having vets like Booker and Regal around, but they're doing this in such a way that suggests their looking for a replacement on RAW. Stat. To be honest, if that's the reasoning, I wouldn't mind. |
