ESPN's Todd McShay wrote that "it's naive" to think that FSU redshirt sophomore QB Jameis Winston will automatically plummet in the draft based on character concerns.
Texas A&M freshman quarterback Kyle Allen tweeted "Don't count me out yet."

I dunno the NIU uni's don't look so bad or plain They're just white...no piping, no nothing. Just a NIU on the helms and some 70s high school lettered NIU on the chest with numbers front back and shoulders. don't get no more boring too me. IDK maybe I'm used to the new college trend of everyone looking like an XFL reject now.

Popped over to the game based on the uni talk, NIU isn't too bad. Yeah, it is plain but not bad plain, the chrome facemasks are nice. The dark red around the black numbers does't work though. Like the Ball State colors.

Sorry Penn St should be serving every single penalty they were originally given. Cover up child rape. Nah it's all good you guys didn't have anything to do with it that are there now. Guy gets money from boosters 10 years previous. Nope, you guys lose 30 scholarships and cripple your depth to the point of player exhaustion, which in turn lessens player safety. Or is that not a thing anymore. Who cares if everyone involved has been cleaned out. Also Northern Illinois is wearning the most basic, boring uniform I have ever seen on ESPN 2 right now. They make Army or Notre Dame's regular jerseys' look like they are flashy and loaded with color. NIU's uniforms would have looked even more bland had they been playing on the red field. Then again, you probably wouldn't be able to see what they were wearing at all because you're eyes would be bleeding looking at the field.

ULM punished the kid to get into his head and it worked. He will have learned from that but one week isn't really enough time to go from zero to playinga national title contender

Clemson has a 4th and 1, lines up in the shotgun, the play is an option pitch, the runner misses the catch, recovers the fumble, but fails to get to the 1st down line. Clemson leads 2-6 Wake Forest 20-17 in the 3rd quarter.

Interesting deal I saw tonight. Teams are 1-6 this season after facing the constant cut-blocking of Navy. I'm sure some of it is coincidence but it's still not a good sign for ND, they did lose a LB for the season last week.

Just went through the schedule, there's alot of coincidence built in to this (it's 2-6 btw..Rutgers and Temple both won the next week). Sounds like something that would come in the weekly Notre Dame newsletter. I mean other than Ohio St. losing it was teams like Western Kentucky, VMI, and Texas St.

I know it's the only way they can move the ball with the talent they can get, and because it's the service academies they get a pass on it, but it is dangerous play.

So Winston's attorney will delay until after FSU's bowl game. Tremendous.

More
TMZ.com is reporting that FSU redshirt sophomore Jameis Winston "tanked the 1st half of the FSU vs. Louisville game to help [UAB DE Chris Rabb] win a $5,000 bet."
UAB acknowledged that they were doing their own investigation. "We're are aware of the allegation and looking into the matter...that is the only comment we will have at this time," UAB president Brian Mackin said in a statement. For what it's worth, Rabb and Winston were classmates in high school.
