It was announced he had 6 movies signed. Avengers 1 2 Cap 1 2 3 is 5. His cameo in Thor 2 didn't count. So my guess is he's done after the Infinity War... so either they work it out a contract for one more movie or he's only in part 3 or 4. If he's in for Infinity War, then I think Thanos is gonna be making a very patriotic pancake. If he's in only one of the two Infinity war movies I'm thinking he dies at the end of Civil War... but he isn't really dead but instead went on a quest to watch Nascar and figure out what Facebook is or some other way of having him show up in part 2 |

If he's in for Infinity War, then I think Thanos is gonna be making a very patriotic pancake. If he's in only one of the two Infinity war movies I'm thinking he dies at the end of Civil War... but he isn't really dead but instead went on a quest to watch Nascar and figure out what Facebook is or some other way of having him show up in part 2 If he's left critically injured/in a coma by Iron Man in Civil War, they could build from that. Stark feels guilty about what he did, gets a death wish mentality and tries to take on Thanos by himself. Thanos is about to crush Iron Man when Cap's shield comes flying in from off-screen. Cap's back, gets his big damn hero moment, but has to sacrifice himself to save the others. Then Bucky takes up the mantle in Cap 4/future Avengers movies. |

And speaking of shut the f*** up, Black Panther is happening. Now everybody shut the f*** up about that one, please. Only thing missing is the lack of Nova. I was expecting him to be part of the next phase of movies. Guess he'll maybe make an appearance in Guardians 2. Honestly, kind of glad about that one. Nova not getting his own movie means a better chance of Jeph Loeb not mucking things up and us getting Richard Rider instead of his special little guy Sammy Alexander. |

So Thor 3 is supposed to take place immediately following Avengers 2 but they're are like 4 movies inbetween them (antman, cap3, dr. Strange, and Guardians 2) how will the continuity work with the movies laid out like that?

That's not the type of attitude to have at all. You know, I'm going to keep it close to the chest until I see a trailer. The main problem I already know with BP is that some things about his story and his setting are likely going to get butchered just because they figure it would make white people uncomfortable. Wakanda is a ridiculously advanced African nation generally depicted as being vehemently opposed White Colonialism/Western Imperialism. I'm willing to bet money that side is either going to get axed completely or downplayed for the movie. It's all about how much it does. ....and in the event that happens, I'm still gonna complain. |

............okay, I didn't want that post to turn into another argument discussion about this subject, but I think this one can go without getting heated. I just want to see if I've got this straight. You're saying that the filmmakers toning down the aspects that make T'Challa unlikeable to have him stand more as an equal with all the rest of their heroes is a BAD thing? What precisely about the dude having his own technological utopian nation that is dubious, at best, towards the West make him unlikeable? Stuff like that doesn't stop people from somehow liking Doctor Doom (a villain) or Namor (an anti-hero at best). Let's be real, just background wise BP is not an equal to the Avengers. Tony Stark is a really smart rich dude. Thor is a demigod who still can't be tasked to rule his own nation. Hulk/Bruce Banner is a wandering monstrous vagabond of a scientist. Black Widow and Hawkeye are agents who take marching orders from Nick Fury and SHIELD. Captain America is a super soldier who sometimes takes marching orders from SHIELD. Dude didn't even join the Avengers because he was amongst friends, though it might have leaned that way a bit eventually. He joined to spy on them to assess if they were a threat to his nation. T'Challa/BP is the king of his own awesome African nation and technically doesn't have to answer to anyone he doesn't choose to. Dude should be expected to carry himself like he believe he is the king of the best nation ever and bristle whenever Captain America decides he wants to give him an order or slap the piss out of Tony Stark for MCU Age of Ultron. I actually don't want him to be "equal" to the Avengers. I want his background and Wakanda to stay intact. I know it isn't because a lot of people find that shit threatening, but whatever. That's not my problem. I never had a problem with those aspects of his character. |
