It's a shame all the DC and Marvel superhero rights aren't owned by Disney
Could have some amazing dream lineups

Now I'm picturing the bit from The Simpsons where the Springfield school kids are all sadly looking out the window of the school bus on their way to the box factory at all the kids from other schools having fun at the cool factories. Replace the Springfield kids with Spiderman/X-Men/Fantastic Four and the other kids with Avengers/Guardians/Inhumans etc. to complete the visual.

A part of me actually imagines D. Bryan Danielson sitting at home, watching the news unfold with the exact same expression on his face. But he doesn't own a TV or computer, how does he keep up to date with the news!!!! My oh my, how I laughed at this.

2016: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25), Captain America: Civil War (May 6), Suicide Squad (August 5) & Doctor Strange (November 4) 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 5), Wonder Woman (June 23), Thor: Ragnarok (July 28), Black Panther (November 3) & Justice League Part One (November 12) 2018: The Flash (March 23), Avengers: Infinity War – Part I (May 4), Captain Marvel (July 6), Aquaman (July 27) & Inhumans (November 2) 2019: Shazam (April 5), Avengers: Infinity War – Part II (May 3) Justice League Part Two (June 14) 2020: Cyborg (April 3) & Green Lantern (reboot) (June 19) May the best man win as a cliche saying goes. I'm anticipating DC blinking first again and moving JL II to August or something. They'll get annihilated by IW II.

............okay, I didn't want that post to turn into another argument discussion about this subject, but I think this one can go without getting heated. I just want to see if I've got this straight. You're saying that the filmmakers toning down the aspects that make T'Challa unlikeable to have him stand more as an equal with all the rest of their heroes is a BAD thing? What precisely about the dude having his own technological utopian nation that is dubious, at best, towards the West make him unlikeable? Stuff like that doesn't stop people from somehow liking Doctor Doom (a villain) or Namor (an anti-hero at best). Let's be real, just background wise BP is not an equal to the Avengers. Tony Stark is a really smart rich dude. Thor is a demigod who still can't be tasked to rule his own nation. Hulk/Bruce Banner is a wandering monstrous vagabond of a scientist. Black Widow and Hawkeye are agents who take marching orders from Nick Fury and SHIELD. Captain America is a super soldier who sometimes takes marching orders from SHIELD. Dude didn't even join the Avengers because he was amongst friends, though it might have leaned that way a bit eventually. He joined to spy on them to assess if they were a threat to his nation. T'Challa/BP is the king of his own awesome African nation and technically doesn't have to answer to anyone he doesn't choose to. Dude should be expected to carry himself like he believe he is the king of the best nation ever and bristle whenever Captain America decides he wants to give him an order or slap the piss out of Tony Stark for MCU Age of Ultron. I actually don't want him to be "equal" to the Avengers. I want his background and Wakanda to stay intact. I know it isn't because a lot of people find that shit threatening, but whatever. That's not my problem. I never had a problem with those aspects of his character. So you actually want them to specifically say Black Panther is BETTER than everyone? Because as ludicrous as the following is going to sound, your post kinda makes it sound like you're not gonna be happy unless there's a scene where he's beating the shit out of The Hulk with Mjolnir in one hand, disabling all of Iron Man's shit with the other hand, juggling Cap's shield with one foot and smacking Hawkeye around with his own bow using his other foot, all while giving 12 inches hard to Black Widow. And yes, I'm trying to be as ridiculous with that as possible to keep this from turning into an argument, because frankly, I'm sick and tired of bitching about comic book stuff with people here.

So you actually want them to specifically say Black Panther is BETTER than everyone? All I said is I want his background and setting to stay intact. Judging from what his background is compared to all the other Avengers, objectively he isn't an equal to those heroes. Literally, he's a king of his own nation. That's literally what I said. There's no argument Thor's god-like status compared to the other Avengers is an example as to why he isn't equal, so I don't understand how BP being the ruler of a technologically advanced nation is such this huge problem. You may say that what I'm saying sounds ridiculous, but we can't discuss how it sounds. We can only discuss what I'm saying and I never said any of that.

Completly off topic, but I had the whole set of those cards at one point... Gambit was that one damn card that I spent months trying to find to finish the set... I wonder what happened to them... I have most of the following year's set. I need the 2099 foil cards and the holographic Spider-Man vs. Venom one. \ I have 2-3 of that hologram card. I tried forever to get them and then got two damn near back to back. I'm interested in how an Inhumans movie will work... especially since one of the main characters can't talk... at all... not even in the I am Groot way... So Basically I'm assuming Black Bolt isn't going to do much... Get a theater guy who knows how to act to the back of the room, plus he fits a main tenant of movies "show don't tell" he will be fine. So I am thinking Civil War makes a rift between the heroes and it turns out Thanos set it all in motion to do jsut that. So he invades afterwards as the heroes are broken. Both sides come to fight, but do it as two facts. Thanos is ready to kill Stark and Cap comes in and takes the blow saving his life. It makes Tony realize he was a dick and they all work together in the next movie. Maybe recruiting the Guardians. Also I do not think they are breaking it up because they are trying to squeeze an extra movie (they can just make another), no, I think the story is too ambitious for one film.

I'm surprised there is no Hulk movie or Iron Man 4 with RDJ it's happening at Ellen. Still strange to see Inhumans, Ant-Man, Dr. strange, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther all get a movie before a Hulk sequel. I also think some of these movies will bomb because were getting into oversaturation terrority with bunch of B List - C List heroes, bunch of movies from DC, and who knows how many other super hero movies were getting from Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, X Men, and other popular graphic novels.
Plus if some of these movies are critical duds or just deemed okay which chances are it may happen, it'll kill bit of their reputation as a powerhouse franchise just like Pixar. Also Guardians of the Galaxy did well mostly because it was one of the lowest summer box office seasons ever and it was one of the few movies that looked interesting with no direct competition after August. Like I think Marvel is over estimating it's name value and getting cocky by green lighting every obscure character they have

Ok. So Ant-Man starts Phase 3. Does Phase 3 end with Infinity War part 1? How many movies does that put in Phase 3?
With this line up announced and after seeing the trailer for Age of Ultron and the little bit of info I've read about Ant-Man, I'm really having a hard time figuring out how AoU could lead into Ant-Man. Is it possible that Ant-Man ends up kind of being in it's own little world with just maybe S.H.I.E.L.D/Hydra connecting it to the larger MCU (similar to how Thanos and the Infinity Stones were really the only thing connecting Guardians and the rest of the MCU)
