I had myself convinced Scherzer would get the no-no against the Mets; so happy to be wrong. Scared about Mejia, though, but if it's the worst case scenario then at least this is a much deeper team than it was last season.
Next up: deGrom vs. Zimmermann, Harvey vs. Strasburg. Heavyweight bouts, awesome.
But we all have to wait 'til Wednesday for game 2's now. I get why they do it, but to me it's the worst day of the calendar year.

I get it when people play the "the players are millionaires whining they don't make enough money or whatever, I don't want to hear it" card, but stuff like this is why I'll almost always side with them over the owners in any sport. The Angels are super scummy. |
