You know what I hate? WWE gets the wrestlers to think of names, yet they get to trademark them as their intellectual property. I wonder if guys ever thought of recording this process and if they get let go, they can keep the name and give that recording to the court showing they thought of the name. Not that it matters much with Steen. If he gets let go, he can still go back as Kevin Steen without it being a big deal, in comparison to other wrestlers. "Is this the contract you signed?" "Well, yeah, but this recording says-" "Case dismissed."

Wouldn't matter - they'd probably make them sign over the rights to whatever they do think up.

I thought Steen was such a good name, but this is what WWE does now.

It's a jobber name. I read it and think of a pale, thin guy in ill-fitting trunks about to get injured in an Ahmed Johnson squash.

'Kevin Steen' is a lot cooler, but let's face it, his name could've been worse. A lot worse.

Eh, why not just let him use his real name? If anything, I'd keep his last name, since it's the much more distinct part about his full name. Maybe Owen Steen or something. No. Trademarking your sons name for WWE merchandise is f***ed up. Jeez, I didn't even realize that. Well, you get the idea.

I approve of this. It also leads to the possibility of him being nicknamed "Big O" at some point in time. I approve of this too. Cast in the Name of God, Ye Not The Guilty We have come to terms.

Guys like Zack Ryder aren't going to selling many tickets to indy shows without the *only* names they've ever been known by.

Owen Steen would have been better. I just can't picture him being the reckless animal he is with that name.

Dorothy for Divas champion. MAN, ARE YOU KIDDING? I know Dorothy doesn't look like much, but her skipping is like someone trying to get a wrecking ball to bounce.
