I really hope they don't kill someone off just to bring them back. They do that in the Marvel movies constantly and its alittle tiring. Well that's basically what happened after Thanos butchered half of the Marvel Universe wasn't it? Sure but its different for a movie. Especially since they've done the 'dead lol jk' bit a bunch. Just...can death actually matter for two seconds?

Just...can death actually matter for two seconds? I've got a feeling we're getting a lot of deaths that will stick. Depending on how they kill off Widow and/or Stark, I believe they'll stay dead. That all varies on if RDJ decides he wants to stick around like Evans has. I'd also say with 95% certainty that Quicksilver stays dead.

Rumor on Spidey Seems Tony creates his suit and tech I don't like that. If true they fall into the same trap as the two ASM did Probably just the Iron Spider suit and tech. Highly doubt they'll have him create the classic suit and web shooters.

Also we have to remember that Feige has already confirmed that Spider-Man has been active for a while in the MCU(considering his solo film isn't an origin story). Where would Tony have found the time to create Peter's suit and tech?
Tony was pretty busy with Iron Monger, Whiplash, Extremis/Killian, Chitauri, and Ultron incidents. He wouldn't have had time to socialize with Peter and put together his equipment. So it's pretty obvious it's the Iron Spider armor and technology to go with it.
I just hope we get the classic scene from the comics with Peter overriding Tony's fail safe switch. Not only was it epic, however, it'll also showcase that Peter is smart too and his genius is on the same level as Starks.

It's a train-wreck of a story that is hard to sit through one read let alone several. I'd argue a more revered classic from that era was the pre-OMD Spider-Man annual (which almost won an Eisner). I'm only giving this movie a shot because it'll probably deal with the issues more delicately.

I said that moment in Civil War between Peter and Tony was pretty classic. At that point, Tony had underestimated Peter's intelligence and didn't think of the possibility that Peter created an override of Tony's fail safe switch. So when Peter lept back to life and owned Tony in the process it became pretty classic.

I disliked the story in the comics immensely. So I'm ambivalent at best for this film.

I disliked the story in the comics immensely. So I'm ambivalent at best for this film. The comic story was pretty terrible... but things like Ultimate Alliance 2 told the story way better... ALSO! I found an Article on the story it's going to be a different central conflict than in the books. {Spoiler}http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2015/09/03/captain-america-civil-war-isnt-about-secret-identities
Think most people kinda guessed this (especially since I think all of the heroes so far save for Daredevil have publicly known ID's in the cinematic universe)
Tony being on the side for government control is pretty much the exact opposite of where he was in IM2... but it's been a long time since then and he did kinda destroy a few cities since then. Captain America not trusting a higher authority (and more specifically doing what is right and damned the consequences) fully fits in his character especially after the SHIELD really being Hydra thing

According to Heroic Hollywood, Peter Parker has been Spidey for about a year since the events of Civil War.

How apt, because at this rate in the comics, the Spidey from 1962-2007 will be an urban legend

According to Heroic Hollywood, Peter Parker has been Spidey for about a year since the events of Civil War. So you mean he's just getting started as Spidey when Civil War begins? Or should that be written as "about a year by the time of the events of Civil War?"

The MCU needs to get a little dark.
I love this age of comic book movies, and I think the audience is too big for it to ever go away. But I feel that Marvel is in a loop of just creating the same movie over and over again.
The first Iron Man was so good because it had a dark moment or two. Since then, like a dozen people have died and comeback.

So I definitely think they understand that it's time to up the stakes and have consequences.

So I think we might see him in Spider-Man possibly.

Given the shake-up that happened within the Marvel/Disney organization I think it's safe to say that Marvel might start moving away from the norm. I can see the stories getting darker, consequences coming to fruition, and the stakes getting more serious and higher as each film progresses to Infinity War.
In a way it kind of has mature given the subject matter. I can definitely see some deaths happening in Civil War and them sticking in order to give it a sense of dread and emotion.
