Wrestling News World on their premium site are reporting that Ring of Honor and Spike TV are in talks to air monthly specials, which would be huge news for ROH and their general exposure beyond their regular fanbase. EDIT: PWPonderings are claiming that this news is false via the sources they have concerned with ROH. Mike Johnson at PWInsider is say the same, having talked with both Spike and ROH and going so far as to say they haven't had talks of any kind, past or present. I was about to say, that wouldn't make a ton of sense considering the news report about how Spike was done with wrestling for now.

The SPIKE thing now debunked makes zero sense. ROH office wise will be a smaller company after the PPV as one or two people handed in their notice ROH isn't expanding in 2005. The promotional budget has been cut greatly.

I mean, dude is the IWGP Champion, he ain't losing outside of Japan as long as he has that title.

It was a great show, aside from the awful sound system and the idiots smoking a joint in front of us. Few things off the top of my head, which I'll throw in a spoiler box just in case: {Spoiler}- Jimmy Jacobs and Truth Martini couldn't make it due to the weather.
- I have no idea who Punch Drunk Love is, but they are seriously great. ROH needs more comedy acts.
- Mike Posey's rapping gimmick is terrible. I know that that's the point, but still.
- The aborted match between Corey Hollis and Jonathan Gresham was rather dull. The Teddy Long special against BJ Whitmer and Adam Page was awesome, however.
- Delirious/Matt Sydal delivered as expected. The wife and I were shocked at the amount of people ran into who had never seen Delirious work a match live, or in some cases, at all. We saw him live in IWC back in the day more times than I can count. Man, we're old.
- Roddy/Kyle O'Reilly started slow, but ended up being really good.
- It doesn't come across on TV all that well, but Moose has "it." He did things a guy that size shouldn't be able to do. He'll be massive in a few years. Oh... And the crowd chant of "flippy shit" to ACH was hilarious.
- The MVP of the six way match was Will Ferrara. Everyone else was good; he was great.
- AJ/Bobby Fish was definitely slower paced than the rest of the card, but that isn't a bad thing. It was the perfect counterpoint to both the six man match and the main event.
- About the main event: There were chair shots, piledrivers, Mark channeling Cactus Jack and people jumping off of various things (turnbuckles, scaffolding, other people, etc). Matt Taven was bleeding pretty badly by end of the match.

It was pretty much standing room only in Atlanta, I'd estimate 1,000 or more.
They announced that they are coming back to the venue in late August. I was on the front row for this show and snagged two on the front row for the next one.
SPOILER: Cheeseburger came out to do commentary on one of the early matches. He turned around and gave me a big high five when he came out ... so I got that going for me ... BE JEALOUS!!!!!

{Spoiler}I know Moose is a home town guy and is working an unbeaten streak, but seriously, beating ACH a week before he gets AJ Styles on PPV?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I f***ing knew it. I knew they'd have ACH lose to Moose. I expressed my fears earlier in this very thread. As Steveweiser said, why the f*** would you have one of your most over babyfaces job to a lower midcard heel the week before the over babyface faces the biggest star on the indies in the biggest match of their career? Creatively ROH seem to be in a very weird place right now. Shame after how good 2014 was.

How long do we have to do spoilers on a house show? Wait until the DVD is released? Sheesh.

Mark Briscoe has the best facials in all of wrestling; he's hilarious. And I may be one of the rare few, but I prefer him over Jay. His style is absolutely insane and I love all of his spots: redneck kung-fu, cactus elbow drop, froggy-bow elbow; and his willingness to take insane dives and bumps.
He's great.
