I'd like to see Elgin/Joe, though I know Elgin's not everyone's cup of tea right now.

Feud wise, the Decade would definitely have to take issue with Joe just waltzing back in. Jimmy Jacobs should constantly be a thorn in Joe's side.

ROH BRINGING 'WAR OF THE WORLDS' TO PHILLY AND MORE ROH NEWS

Ring of Honor has added a date on Wednesday 5/13 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, listing it as "War of the Worlds." That was the name of one of the major shows featuring New Japan Pro Wrestling talent last year, so it doesn't take a genius to figure out they have added Philly to the already scheduled Toronto dates with the talent that week. When I contacted ROH, they said there would be an official announcement later today. If that is indeed the case, it might be time for me the revive the old bus trips out of NYC.

Speaking of ROH, it's pretty cool they added Samoa Joe to the Redwood City, CA event Wrestlemania weekend as that show is already sold out and they really didn't have to. It's a nice bonus for the fans that were already supporting the show and the company that night, just like the addition of Jushin Liger.

The 13th Anniversary Show will feature, for the first time in ROH history, a Spanish announce team of Alex Abrahantes and Leticia Castro. I'm not familiar with Castro but Abrahantes worked for Lucha Libre USA.

Tickets for the 8/29 Atlanta return are already on sale.

This past weekend's Atlanta event is already on www.ROHWrestling.com via VOD. I am partially through the card but AJ Styles vs. Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong vs. Kyle O'Reilly are both excellent matches well worth going out of your way to see. Will Ferrara looked great in a six man Mayhem bout on the undercard and you can see the Taz student really picking his game up. Lots of good wrestling on this one.

It's the undercard and midcard regulars who might feel the pinch but ROH is countering that by bringing in some heavy hitters. Joe may not become a regular but no one is crying about that.

I would definitely do that, as well.

I don't care about the drive as much as I do that it's in the middle of the week. If it were on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, there'd be no hesitation. Driving two hours there after work and then two hours back after a long day makes things tough.

Life could be much worse...

I got 12 hours for the San Antonio shows. Really crazy that people will travel that far for ROH. I love 'em but I just wouldn't expect it for a company of their size.

Stoked for War of the Worlds in Philly. As everyone is commenting on drive times, we're about 4 hours. Could be better, could be worse.

I don't know if its because its a Wednesday, 2300 Arena being that much cheaper to book, or a combo of both, but we paid 50 bucks for those atrocious standing room only tickets at Final Battle, and got 5th row seats for WOTW for 35.
