Watching the episode from Field of Honor and it looks amazing. I just wish the production wasn't so crazy with all the quick cuts.

And I screwed up and deleted the DA showing to stick with the local airing but the local got messed up thanks to football so I only got Okada v. Roddy. Great match though.

The location in question is where TNA held Bound for Glory 2007. It's a big step up in both size and prestige from the North Atlanta Trade Center. This is awesome, I live maybe 10 minutes from the building. From the sounds of it, it won't be held in the hockey arena portion of the building, but the convention center building of the complex, which is still a big upgrade over the Trade Center. Cool looking venue, and at least it'll be properly heated/air condition unlike the North Atlanta Trade Center And yet why do I feel that they'd EASILY sell the arena itself out if they were in that portion?

They were packing a thousand plus into the Trade Center, I think they could've got a very respectable crowd in for the hockey arena portion. It'd look great on TV

The main arena holds 13,000 -- and that's no counting the floor seating, so probably 14,000-plus for wrestling.
That would way more than double any ROH attendance ever, right?
And this is a house show, not a major PPV or iPPV.
I think they're growing into a bigger arena because they've more or less packed out the NATC, but I think it would be a huge mistake to put, say, 2,000 pepole into a 14,000-seat arena ... we'd see a lot of TNA-type pics on LOLs on social media because it would look like a disaster. And it would also take away from the intensity and intimacy of a smaller arena packed to the gills.

Respectable...but not 14,000 seat arena respectable.

About this week's episode: It's great to see The Beer City Bruiser on national TV. I actually forced Dale Gagner to book him back in my AWA days - my only real victory. (Dale always avoided booking him because his original ring name, Dinn T. Moore, "sound[ed] like lunch." I'm serious.) He always answered my emails, was really receptive to my ideas and was generally an awesome person. The guy deserves the exposure.

I love Beer City Bruiser, and I especially love his partnership with Silas. They're a low key, bad ass team.

Should be grand

I always make the trip up to Minneapolis when ROH is in town (4 hour trip. Closest they get to me). This is the first time I can't go because of work, and the show is on my birthday to make matters even more sucky.

I like Moose and all but is he really popular enough to warrant 3 or 4 shirts in the ROH store? Just seems odd.

I don't know how long that contract they signed him to was but barring some career-ending injury, it's basically a guarantee that he's getting snatched up by NXT after it ends so it seems like they want to make as much money off him as possible while he's still with them.

The "Moose" chant is super infectious, and he's marketable in every way a professional wrestler can be marketable. And yeah, as mentioned, I believe they are anticipating some of that demand.

Just seems odd. saw Moose at Beyond Wrestling a few months ago.he had a duck, duck moose one and this one which i like better than the ROH ones. im not surprised they did a football jersey type one though.
