I would love to see it. Dude is dripping in pure star presence and the WWE would probably be forced to finally treat a Japanese wrestler seriously. But I also think he's better off in New Japan.

Remember when Punk unfollowed WWE on Twitter sometime in 2012 or 2011 I think

They're also both the youngest guys to win their company's world titles. No, that's be Nakamura.

Okada does Randy Orton better than Randy Orton ever did Randy Orton.

Honestly, if they sign Okada, what's the point of Kenta? They can't have two Japanese wrestlers? Nope they are allowed 3 Asians max, but none of those may be from the same country, although obviously all of them will at some point have a generic and probably racist Kung Fu gimmick.

I honestly don't trust wwe with any kind of non American/Canadian wrestler at this point.

Never heard of him, but the dude has a big star feel to him. Someone compiled this on Reddit a while back, pretty much covers all the bases in regard to Okada. Will check out the AJ Styles match. Thanks!

And to think TNA had Okada Funny story, when New Japan lent him to them in 2010, They knew fully well how they were going to treat him, similar to the way they had did guys like No Limit and Tiger Mask, and almost did to Tanahashi as well if he hadn't been called back to rejoin them in late 08 to become the megastar he is today.

I wouldn't put much stock in this.
I mean, the guy has a world title match coming up against the John Cena of New Japan at their version of WrestleMania. No way he's leaving anytime soon if at all.

If you're a wrestling fan and Okada is one of your favorite wrestlers you will want him FAR away from the WWE. He's set in New Japan and can actually wrestle classics there instead of going from being THE guy over there to toiling in the minor leagues of NXT in front of a chant-happy crowd here before being promoted to working under an insane old man where one week he'll be over as hell and the next he'll be jobbing to Kofi and Slater on Main Event.

If Okada ever did jump to WWE, I think I'd die of wrestling geek-gasm. I'd be accompanied by Tyson Kidd.

And to think TNA had Okada The amazing thing about that was how much the star power I mentioned above was totally undetectable during his time in TNA. Thats how smothering TNA is to star power. See Also: Hardy, Jeffrey Nero.
