And to think TNA had Okada Funny story, when New Japan lent him to them in 2010, They knew fully well how they were going to treat him, similar to the way they had did guys like No Limit and Tiger Mask, and almost did to Tanahashi as well if he hadn't been called back to rejoin them in late 08 to become the megastar he is today. This. I remember the idea was pretty much to humble him, as they saw potential in him, but he hadn't really done much. so they sent him to TNA to show how badly he could have it, then brought him back to NJPW to unleash his full potential. I mean, he went from this: Basically being "Generic Japanese Man", which isn't exactly great when you're wrestling in Japan, to this: Becoming one of the most charismatic dudes in NJPW seemingly by magic. Evidently, TNA does have some uses!

Then he's perfect. They'll give him a Kato gimmick and he will be billed just as an Asian and he'll always wear the mask, he'll feud with Kenta in a martial arts Kempo vs Jeet Kune Do match with kendo sticks, eskrima sticks, wooden eku and nunchucks with hilarious commentary by Dusty Rhodes. "HE GOT A NUNCHUCK! HE GOT A NUNCHUCK! HE GOT A NUNCHUCK!"

I always compared Kazuchika Okada to a young Randy Orton, and that Okada reddit pointed out something that I hadn't noticed before. Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada R.K.O. They're also both the youngest guys to win their company's world titles. Mind. Blown. No Nakamura is the youngest IWGP, if not overall, World Champ in history.

I need to go back and check out that Nakamura reign as much like most NJPW of that time, I don't really remember much of it.

I hope he is writing checks to Elijah Burke because he basically swagger jacked his gimmick. Okada is hella talented though.

Hate to break it to you all, but if he ever does go to WWE, he likely won't be allowed to use The Tombstone cause of 'Taker. The Red Ink due to it being too similar to the STF. And other moves in his repertoire as well. They probably won't even let him use The Rainmaker since Barrett used it as part of his new finisher every show gimmick he had.

Isn't The Rainmaker a clothesline? And didn't Barrett drop that setup for his elbow a long time ago?
