twitter.com/rainmaker_chaos/followingLike I said, it's a stretch. But if he was, say, brought in by Kidd, who spotted him during his daily Japanese wrestling marathons as a counter to KENTA, I'd mark like f***. Granted, the English speaking announcers wouldn't make the "RAINMAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" sound as good, but goddamn, I'd be so pleased if he signed with WWE. Dude's easily one in my top 5 current wrestlers.

If this were a legit thing and not just Okada following NXT for the hell of it, this would change the landscape of WWE in a big way.
Okada is a man still very much in the early years of his career, and is still one of if not the true best in the world.
The guy works his ass off, and has aura and swag matched only by a select few. He also speaks pretty damn good English from what I've been told.
If Kazuchika Okada got signed to WWE; he will become a big deal real quick, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion sooner than later.

Honestly, if they sign Okada, what's the point of Kenta?

Honestly, if they sign Okada, what's the point of Kenta? I don't think they brought Itami in to be "token Japanese guy". Itame and Okada work two completely different styles, and are two completely different characters.

Honestly, if they sign Okada, what's the point of Kenta? They can't have two Japanese wrestlers?

Honestly, if they sign Okada, what's the point of Kenta? It's sad to admit, but I kinda agree with you here. He's just not been that impressive in NXT, he's kinda sucky on the mic (I know, he's new to speaking English, but they shouldn't have him talk if he's not that confident yet) and his in-ring stuff's been rather subpar IMO.

It's nothing.
Unless NJPW crash and burns in the future, Okada will only be heading to the states for copromotion shows.

Never heard of him, but the dude has a big star feel to him. Someone compiled this on Reddit a while back, pretty much covers all the bases in regard to Okada.

There is no way in HELL Okada would sign with WWE when he is about to get the torch officially passed to him from Tanahashi at the Tokyo Dome.

I always compared Kazuchika Okada to a young Randy Orton, and that Okada reddit pointed out something that I hadn't noticed before.
Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada R.K.O.
They're also both the youngest guys to win their company's world titles.
Mind. Blown.

Also, I remember reading a few people talking about Tanahashi passing the torch, and I thought it was odd. Then I read he was thirty freaking eight! Dude's aged well!

It's nothing. New Japan is going to make sure he never goes anywhere. 10s of millions and probably all the women and chocolate chip cookies he wants for life.

Isn't Okada's biggest rival the "John Cena" of NJPW?
Black helicopters, indeed.

My primary exposure to Okada is Spoony asking who the hell he was on a Wrestle Wrestle episode, so here's hoping on the off-chance he does come in he gets the Kato gimmick.
