What, that's not appropriate? Fine. *slinks away*

She'll be back, and title #4 will be forthcoming.
This time, they should let her hold the belt for a full year.

I'm genuinely perplexed as to what they could write for her at this point, given the weak divas division.
They already screwed up her first big return. They'll just do it again.

It's just as well to not write her out, given how rare it is she gets a reaction beyond, "CM PUNK!" anyway. Which isn't something I take issue with because it's not like I give a damn about most stuff involving her any more than the average fan in attendance does.

Why doesn't WWE just release her? They don't want to seem bitter about Punk, she still makes them a bit of money from merch, she's clearly still well thought of by the important people backstage since they've kept booking her strongly (if gratingly bad from a character perspective). I'd love to know what it's like for her in the back the longer this Punk saga goes on and the more shots are fired. I'd have more interest in a tell-all interview with her than seeing her wrestle at this point, although I'm not sure she's the type to do that. This note in the Observer goes on to say (translation from Meltzerese) that she's kinda in limbo as they can't bury her (I guess cos they don't want to give Punk and his supporters more ammunition), but don't want to push her anymore since the UFC deal cos it would draw attention to Punk and encourage the chants, but she's popular so it's worth keeping her around regardless. And apparently she went off-script with her Slammy speech and 'one source' (read: Nattie, probably) saw it as her burying the main roster Divas and saying only Paige was on her level, even though she mentioned Summer and Emma too. I don't know why AJ personally stays though, she's accomplished all she's likely to, she's probably constantly catching heat from people backstage with every new Punk development, and she has to spend loads of time away from him, apparently including working injured.

Good for Natayla! I am sure she is looking forward to this push. Hopefully they will let her have the belt.

Why doesn't WWE just release her? They clearly see something in her, and even if they didn't, if they cut her now it'd be an excellent way to leave themselves open to a massive lawsuit due to the timing. And WWE couldn't really argue against it too well given they've at least three times in the past fired a husband and wife on the same day as each other.

Um, did I miss something or isn't AJ Lee still by far the most popular Diva currently on the roster? The way some of you are commenting about her it's like she didn't just win Diva of the Year, without even being on Total Divas as a featured personality. She legitimately won the fan vote on her own merits, acting ability, and in-ring skills. The WWE struck gold with AJ and not only that AJ has no problem making Paige and Nikki Bella get a nice rub at her expense, the company needs about a dozen more 'Divas' like AJ.

Man, that match against Nikki Bella at TLC was basically "Murphy's Law" come to life. I mean you had AJ working with an injury, while Nikki was working while sick. No wonder both Divas were so lethargic.
