The Tower of Doom and Snuka cage dive spots. It's gotten to the point where pretty much every triple threat has a Tower of Doom at some point, and every cage match has a Snuka dive complete with looking out at the crowd with the "Should I do it?" expression. My reaction has gone from "Whoa! That was insane!" to "Oh jeez, not this again." I agree 100% about the "Snuka spot"....but, forgive my ignorance, what is a Tower of Doom?

On whoever mentioned the 90s blonde, big titted women I agree that that "type" isnt really appealing to me now but I was watching a Raw from 98 earlier and seeing Sable really made me appreciate how pretty she really was.

I like how Truth and Rhyno got under JJ and Harris as if they wouldn't have fallen by themselves when they suplexed Styles back in.

I'm not 'over' anything. I like all forms of pro-wrestling, whether it's WWE, indy, deathmatches, lucha libre, highflying, technical, etc. It's all dependent on what I'm in the mood to watch at the time.

I barely watch wrestling specifically because I'm sooo tired of evil authority figures. Took the words right out of my mouth.

MMA inspired wrestling. If I want to watch MMA, I would watch MMA not a wrestling match trying to be that. I think you can blend the two rather well specifically i think ReDRagon Shibata and Suzuki are amazing at it.

I never was a big fan but I'm completely over the Hart family. They're always so crusty and grumpy. Especially Bruce Hart. And why? The only one who ever smiled was Helen. But I think that was because she didn't have a clue what was going on most of the time.
I do like Owen but I can never see the rest again.

I hope the WWE don't do the spear through the barricade spot for a long time... they've toned it down a lot but there was a period in 2013 that it seemed to happen multiple times a show.

Matches being made (kayfabe) on the fly.
Let me get this straight: Whoever is in charge didn't think to book any matches. They needed to wait for several instances of wrestlers cutting promos on each other and/or an attack before deciding "Hey, maybe they should have a match".
Like, what if the show *didn't* start off with said promo/attack. Would the audiance just be subjected to an empty ring all night?

I just think promoting a couple of matches ahead of time would only help get people to tune in the following week

A while ago I thought she was the victim of some pretty bad surgery, but seeing recent pictures of her she is actually looking pretty great for her age so seemingly she didn't go overboard with it. But in late 90s/early 00s WWF and WCW, it really seemed like if you were blonde and had fake cans you had a contract. These days they at least vary the hair colours a bit...

"Shooting", "breaking the fourth wall", "going off script". It has lost its luster and I don't believe any of it.

I remember being over Chris Jericho some time after he joined the WWF. He was brilliant in WCW and little by little they chipped away at the little things and eventually he was just a catchphrase spewing, boston crab maneuvering, meh personality to me.

Ditto with Booker T. He was infinitely better IMO as the serious, albeit occasionally breakdancing, wrestler and not the dimwitted goof who would stare at his hand like an idiot before taking 10 seconds to dance during matches and promos. There could have been a happy medium in there somewhere but it was like two completely different characters. For what it's worth, though, he did start the transition to token catchphrase loving champ under Russo in WCW.
